I was so excited when I received the first pictures of the kittens' faces. The first picture is of Chloe's kittens. Look how close they were on Day 5 (I think I have the day right). This may be a brother and sister that won't be separated.
Here is the first picture I received of Zoey's kittens faces. This picture was taken when they were 6 days old.
Aren't they just too adorable?!?!
Several of you have asked about their darker fur compared to their mothers. Silver Shaded and Silver Chinchilla Persians are born dark and turn lighter as they get older. According to Terri (the breeder) their eyes will be a "murky, sorta ugly color, until about 5-6 months when they start turning a more vivid green. You will see the green begin in a ring around the pupil and as they get older, the greener rim will widen until it completely fills the iris. I've seen some of my kittens have completely green eyes as quick as 9 or 10 months old, but the 'books' say that Silver Persians can take up to 3 years to show their true eye color. "
They are so sweet, sure you don't want all five of them? HAHAHAHA.
ReplyDeleteWe agree with Derby and Ducky!!!

So sweet. The brother and sister pair could be loads of fun.
ReplyDeleteThey are just gorgeous! Don't know how you could decide, but at this stage we are betting on the brother and sister pair ;).
ReplyDeleteI don't think the brother and sister should be separated...look how adorable they are together!! I'm sure you're going to have an extremely tough decision to make when you get around to deciding which ones will be coming to live with you in September. They are all so incredibly beautiful :)
ReplyDeleteThe 15-week-old kittens my human met at the Fancy Feast shoot were stunning, even if they did not yet have their full eye colors!
ReplyDeleteFive? Five sounds like a good number to me, MOL!
ReplyDeleteOr two ;-) Two is good. I don't think you could possibly go wrong with ANY of those adorable babies!
We agree, too--why not all five of them? Nothing like a clowder of kitties!
ReplyDeleteSuch precious babies... and we know that at least one is going to be well-loved and properly spoiled starting very soon!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful babies!!! I cast my vote for the brother and sister too :-)
ReplyDeleteInteresting how they change colors opposite of Meezers who are born closer to white if not all white and show their points as they grow. We adopted a brother sister pair and they are awesome growing together ... would totally do it again!
ReplyDeleteAll five kittens precious. We are kind of hoping the brother and sister pair choose you!!! But we also know that the kittens who do choose you will know nothing but love!!!!
ReplyDeleteOMC! Adorable isn't a big enough word to describe these heavenly babies. It must be very difficult to wait. I remember waiting for Dante to be old enough to come home and it seemed like furever.
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy that you are looking forward. Sweet Praline has a PURRmanent place in your heart, but I know there is room for more love in the future.
This breed of cat is absolutely gorgeous! With the green eyes, they will be amazing. However, you want to enjoy every minute of their kittenhood, I'm sure.
Dante's eyes first turned from their baby dark blues to an amber colour. I have pictures of him at one year that clearly show it. Then they gradually turned to green. Go figure!
I, too, think getting a brother and sister would be the ultimate. We're counting down the days along with you! Congrats!
Oh my, how sweet! A brother and sister would be nice!
ReplyDeleteOh, Paula, how will you ever choose!
ReplyDeleteGosh they are so cute. WE cast our vote for the brother and sister. I really like how tough that sister is. She is going to be a strong one.
ReplyDeletePaula, I'm glad I'm not in your shoes to have to pick! What a delightful dilemma, they are all adorable.
ReplyDeleteWhat absolutely wonderful faces all! I couldn't make the choice but I'll bet your choice will be guided by a special angel kitty.
ReplyDeleteHugs from me and snuggles from the gang at 3 kats and a kwilter.
So sweet! We think a brother/sister combination would be really nice, too. :)
ReplyDeleteOh they are so adorable. Just look at those darling faces. I am counting the days for you untill they arrive.. Hugs GJ xx
ReplyDeleteAww they are all soooo cute !!!
ReplyDeleteOh you have a hard choice ahead of you!
