When I first started talking to Terri about getting two kittens from her, I was determined I was going to get two females. Terri tried encouraging me to keep an open mind and to consider a male. I think the fact the Chloe had her litter first and only had two kittens: one female and one male, started swaying me toward considering a male and female. I was still determined to get two females when these photos arrived because Zoey had a litter of kittens 9 days after Chloe and she had 2 females and 1 male. Oh the thoughts that went through my head when I received these pictures . . .
The pictures of Truffle as a "little princess" told me that she was definitely a "Diva in Training" and that she would be coming home with me.
Then I received the pictures of Beignet as the "baseball hero" and my mind began considering getting a little boy. Isn't he adorable?
Here is one of the pictures from my visit with Truffle and Beignet yesterday. It felt so good to feel the soft fur under my fingers again and it was so relaxing just sitting there and watching them. Can you tell who is who now? I also learned that it is a lot different taking pictures of kittens with white faces and fur. I guess I need to pull out the big Canon Rebel EOS and learn how to use it to get some good pictures of these beautiful babies!

Oh, my! Oh, my! There is just no word I can think of to adequately describe the beauty and sweetness of these two little ones. You are so lucky to be getting these precious little ones. Hugs
ReplyDeleteboth are very beautiful
ReplyDeleteOMG, no--I can't tell them apart anymore!
ReplyDeleteYou know, I had female kitties all my life, and then about 20 years ago, I ended up with two males and now I have another male. I have to say, the first two males (unfortunately not the current one, LOL) were the cuddliest, most loving kitties I ever had. That totally changed my outlook on the Boys. I think you're going to LOVE having a little boy ;-)
They are growing up to be as beautiful as they are cute. Just adorable!
ReplyDeleteThere must be a special bond between these two because they were born to the same Mom. So glad you decided to have "one of each". All the pictures are totally adorable.
ReplyDeleteThey are precious! I am so glad you got a girl and a boy. It seems like the perfect match. You will love them. Myst has the best personality of any cat I know (myself excepted).
ReplyDeleteYou are so lucky to have not one, but both of these kitties! My human STILL talks about the Fancy Feast kittens she met at the commercial shoot, and how they were so incredibly gorgeous and sweet that they almost weren't real.
ReplyDeleteThey are so pretty and they sure look ready for some snuggles!
ReplyDeleteGosh they are cute. It won't be long now before they come home. I think Beignet is on the right and Truffles on the left. But boy that is hard to tell them apart. This is so much fun. Glad you had a good time yesterday.
ReplyDeleteTake care.
I couldn't wait for this morning to come so I could see the new photos. And you did not disappoint.
ReplyDeleteI love the way they are "presented" in their respective photos; the Diva Princes and the Baseball Hero. (That Terri sure knows "how to sell" a kitty!)
I love the middle photo of Beignet in the collage on the right. It looks like he's saying something. And he's "so happy". What a scamp.
I think Beignet is the kitty on the right in the newest photo. Our Mikey crosses his paws just like that.
I'm thrilled for you, Paula!
We love the way they are presented in those collages!!! We're going to say Truffle on the left and Beignet on the right but we're not sure!
ReplyDeleteThe Florida Furkids and Angel Sniffie
We think you are going to have to rename them OMC! and SQUEE!
ReplyDeleteFrom Mom's experience she says boy kitties are more lovey dovey. Not to say girls aren't at all.
We think Truffle is on the left and Beignet is on the right - mum thinks the marking on their head are the only way she can tell (or not)!
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
We are so excited you get to spend time with them....it must be wonderful and strange. :) Love the baseball pics - he looks like he is laughing about something!!
ReplyDeleteI think Ichiro wants to teach Beignet how to play baseball! He is a cutie--of course so is Truffle! :)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh!! They are both so cute!!! We can hardly wait for them to come home to you!! Mom had a white cat and understands about getting good pictures!!
ReplyDeleteOh Gosh!! You have the most beautiful babies ever!! I'm going to have to show Balthazar their photos. New baby kitty bloggers should stick together you know ;)
ReplyDeleteI cannot tell the babies apart though lol at all lol

They are adorable. We think Truffle is the one half standing and Beignet is the one with his paws crossed. We love that (Mr. Relaxed (or Miss)).
ReplyDeleteCody and Gracie
They are growing fast! Precious little babies! We are so glad you got to enjoy time with them. We hope you get more time before they come home.
ReplyDeleteThey are growing into their beauty!

Such cuties and no we cannot tell them apart.
ReplyDeleteWow! Such a lovely and gorgeous looking little cat. Love their photos.
ReplyDeleteCassy from Lead Guitar Lessons
They are so darned cute!!
ReplyDeleteI think you'll like having both kinds. And later telling them apart will be easier since the boy will probably get more of a mane.
ReplyDeleteThere are some subtle attitude differences, but affection isn't part of it. Girls have a little more of the sense of 'my turf' than males who take things as they find them.
With a white cat (I have a himmy with a lot of white) you have to be careful of flash too close which can bleach detail out. Either being a little back or aiming it off center helps out for me.
They are both so cute, but we don't know who is who yet. We just realised that we will be locked up (yet again) when they come home, so will have to wait to see them.
