Open Eyes

When Truffle and Beignet were two weeks old, I received this email message from Terri:  "Chloe's kittens have figured out how to sit up and now they love to sit up and look around.  Also caught them wobbling around on their little legs today.  They will be running around before you know it :)."

Here are the wonderful pictures of Truffle and Beignet with eyes open looking at me!  Beignet is on the left being a stereotypical boy checking out his surroundings, while Truffle (right) is beginning to show her "diva in training" pose!

In the next picture, Beignet is being the "little brother" and picking at Truffle trying to get her attention.  Isn't he cute?

The last picture is what I call their first official portrait!  Just look at those faces!

As they are getting older, you can start to see some of the differences in their faces.  Truffle is going to have a black nose, while Beignet has some pink/red in his nose.  Truffle was still a little bigger than Beignet at this point, but he's caught up with her now.

I'm scheduled to visit them again tomorrow (Thursday).  I can't wait to have them in my arms again!
