We're so thankful for many things, but we wanted to take this time to thank all of you for the support you've been to Mom Paula this past year.
Mom Paula: I'll second that. You don't realize how great a support group you've been for me this past year. It was very hard to lose Praline to cancer and then four months later to lose Beignet. However, I now have the beautiful dessert sisters: Truffle and Brulee. Truffle is still getting used to having a little sister around and I still worry that she's being too rough on Brulee, but Brulee keeps coming back for more! I just love my little girls!
I think if Brulee is coming back they are doing fine. Georgia used to get on Gemini a lot and Gemini would always start as Georgia would finish and lose interest. Frequently Georgia would look at me like will you look at this kid? What am I supposed to do?!
ReplyDeleteBinga is very rough on Boodie - and I am too sometimes, as a matter of fact - but she totally comes back for more! She considers us her best friends, and the humans come in a distant second. So yeah, I think Truffle and Brulee are doing just fine. I'm sure if Truffle gets too rough, Brulee will let her know.
ReplyDeleteThe size difference will be a lot smaller pretty quickly, the way kittens grow!
ReplyDeleteThey are precious! We think they will end up being best furriends. Purrs and whisker kisses.
ReplyDeleteThat is such a cute picture - Pepsi could use it in their advertising!
ReplyDeleteWe love you all. Whichever "all" you happen ta be anny given time.
ReplyDeleteAn we are gonna love the dessert sisters fer a LONG LONG time!
Mom Paula, trust us, Brulee is fine. That's how it is in two kitty households. It's all in fun. The rougher the better! We'll put on quite a show for you in February providing Laila cooperates. She's such a scaredy cat!
ReplyDeleteFrom the pictures, the dessert sisters are doing just fine!!!
ReplyDeleteThe Florida Furkids and Angel Sniffie
We don't think your Mom should worry too much about Truffle being too rough - you find the little ones have a way of getting their own back!! Truffle is probably a bit upset at have to share Mom's attention at the moment but that will pass.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
it's been a rough year for your MomPaula - but your girls are just so adorable!
ReplyDelete"The Boys" and I love the little dessert sisters!
ReplyDeleteAnd we're glad you've finally got some good times in your life, Mom Paula.
Such precious babies...my momma Ellie wants a lick of the desserts!!!
ReplyDeleteIt makes us all purr to see happiness in your home in the form of 2 very beautiful and fun filled kittens!
Mom says unless there is blood, then it is all play. :) Though if you have a loud one (like our foster Cloud), it can be hard to listen to the little one being "tortured".... MOL
ReplyDeleteJust wait until Brulee gets bigger! Then she will beat up on Truffle!
ReplyDeleteLuf, Us
You two beautiful girls are just now finding out how special you Mom is, we've known that for quite some time!
ReplyDeleteAdorable picture I love it.. So glad you have the two gorgeous girls.. Hugs GJ xx
ReplyDeleteBrulee will stand up for herself when she thinks it is time!
ReplyDeleteWe're with Random Felines. If there is no blood or large bald spots, relax, it's all fun. Enjoy the fact you don't have to tire Brulee out by yourself.
ReplyDeleteI like Brulee's style, Smart and safe !
ReplyDeleteOur kitten here Mahoney, does the same thing. She gets knocked down on the floor and she jumps up and asks for more. Brulee and Truffle will become good buddies. Truffle is just showing her that she is boss right now. Paula, you have had one rough year and we are so glad you have those desert sisters. Bet they make you smile. Take care.
ReplyDeleteWe've got your back mom Paula.
ReplyDeleteThat picture brings back memories of when Scout was small enough to fit in a pop box. Or do you call it "soda"?
ReplyDeleteWe're so happy to see you happy again!
