Truffle came home last night around 8:45 pm (Mom Paula had a meeting after work). She's doing great and so far there have been NO hissy fits between Truffle and Brulee. Mom Paula actually separated the two of us for a little bit because I (Brulee) wanted to play with my sister and Mom Paula was afraid I'd hurt her. At the time of this writing, Mom Paula still isn't sure what she's going to do overnight because both of us usually sleep with her on the bed and she has a tall, four-poster, rice bed.
Truffle walking through her tunnel. Look at the bright pink bandage on her foot. The vet knew we loved pink.
Truffle settling in under the Ess while Brulee looks to see if Mom Paula is watching before she pounced on Truffle.
Oh no, Brulee! You haf to be sweet to your sisfur tonight. Your time will be coming shortly. So glad Truffle did well. Purrs fur all of ya'll. xoxo
ReplyDeleteOh I think you two will work it all out! Miss Truffle looks like she is doing very well!
ReplyDeleteShe will be fine if you let them sleep with you. Separating them will cause more anxiety.

I had to come check to see how sweet Truffle is before heading to bed. I am so glad to know she is doing well and is even enjoying her tunnel. Thanks so much for the update. Hope you all sleep well tonight. Sweet dreams! Hugs and nose kisses
ReplyDeleteI am so happy to see Truffle home! Brulee, you need to be gentle with her for a little while - no pouncing!
ReplyDeleteWE are so happy Truffle is home and doing well !!!!!!

We're so happy Truffle is doing OK! Hope last night went well for all of you!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you are doing good, Truffle! Lovin' that cute pink bandage! Soon you will be able to rumble and tumble with Brulee. Hoping Brulee can hold out!
ReplyDeleteWe're so glad that Truffle is doing so well!!! The pink bandage is very stylish!!

Hopefully you girls didn't try to play too much last night. Truffle we are so happy you are doing well.
ReplyDeleteOh Truffle, we love your pink bandage. Bet you are proud of that. Hopefully Brulee will leave you alone so you can heal. We sure are glad you are home. Have a super and restful day.
ReplyDeleteBrulee honey, no pouncing. You will haf to haf the same thing done in a few weeks yourself, so be mindful of that "payback" thing
ReplyDeleteSo glad to learn that Truffle is home and doing well. We are wishing her a speedy recovery. Clarissa was 3 days post-op from her lady gardenectomy when she was adopted (and she was only 8 weeks old). You'd never know she had just had surgery the way she acted!
ReplyDeleteHow nice for you to have a pink plaster on your leg Truffle - we are so pleased everything went well and she came home safely.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
I'm sure Truffle will do fine in spite of Brulee. In no time, they will be back to their normal antics.
ReplyDeleteSo glad Truffle is ok! xx

ReplyDeleteGlad you are home little one and I am sure you will be fine .. Hugs GJ xx
ReplyDeleteHooray! I sure am glad all went well!
ReplyDeleteI think Truffle will be fine on the bed as usual. Dora acted just as normal after her spay. She was running around, not slowed down at all. As long as neither cat is actually chewing on Truffle's stitches, they'll be fine.
ReplyDeleteWe're happy to hear all went well for Truffle. When Zoey had her "operation" she acted totally normal afterwards. We're sure Truffle will be the same.
ReplyDeleteMom and I came to see how your baby is and she is looking fabulous after her LadyGardenectomy. Kissies and purrs.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're doing okay!!
ReplyDeleteWe're happy to see she is home and doing well! xxoo Uncle Bhu
ReplyDeleteGlad all is well!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are home Truffle and recovering quickly!
ReplyDeleteYour TX furiends,
Sorry we weren't with you yesterday, but today we see everything well! What a good and pretty patient!
ReplyDeleteWell, Truffle, what with your ladygardenectomy and becoming a Big Gurl and all, pretty soon I guess you'll be looking for suitors, right? Hmmmm. I'll be polishing up my resume. I can supply some excellent recommendations, too.
ReplyDeleteDon't pounce on your sister Brulee, be nice to her.
ReplyDeleteWe're so happy that Truffle is home safely. I don't think you have to worry about her too much.
ReplyDeleteFrom what I've seen with my grandkitties, the procedure is much less invasive these days, and the recovery time is very short.
I'll bet she's just like her old (young) self already.
