We have another "smackdown" movie for your viewing pleasure today. You'll notice that Brulee is catching up with me in size and the tussles are a little more fair now. We just like to have fun and will continue with our rough-housing until we each get a mouthful of floof or Mom Paula says in a firm voice, "GIRLS!"
We forgot it was Dr. Seuss Day.
All we wanted to do was play.
Mom's on the road
Or so we've been told.
We must put up with the sitter,
Truffle almost bit her (just kidding)
So, while Mom's away,
We'll just continue to play
For another whole day!
How's that for forgetting about Dr. Seuss???

ReplyDeleteWhat a great time you two are having!!!
ReplyDeleteGirlkitty wrassling! Truffle, I saw that look you gave your human, like, "What? We're just playing!"
ReplyDeleteI don't think that was Mom Paula's "firm" voice, do you? Naaaaah.
ReplyDeleteAnd you *are* getting to be closer in size!
Oh my gosh! Powder puff fighting! Adorable!
ReplyDeleteAnd am I really seeing a few black toes on, I think it was Brulee, on the bottom at the end?? Oh that's far too cute! close up please?? Or do they not sit still long enough for that?
We love watching your fluffy fights and like your Dr Seuss poem too.
ReplyDeleteYou didn't fur-get,
ReplyDeleteyour poem is so sweet,

and that's all we can say,
except to wish you
Happy Seuss Day!
That was some very soft ladylike wrassling!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great poem for Dr. Seuss. Well done. And the girls are too funny having a tussle. They couldn't possible hurt each other with all that fur.
ReplyDeleteMom Paula, Mon. the fifth is the day we are hoping everyone is going to do a post about Judi and her hatting all the cats and dogs.
We loved the wrassling display girls and we must admit your poem was great.

ReplyDeleteNot bad, not bad. We were surprised to see your blog on the list since you posted yesterday your mom forgot and was on the road. You get a gold star for finding a way to participate anyway.

ReplyDeleteYears back when I had two lady cats they would wrestle in that formal way every so often. It was a lot of fun and rarely got out of hand.
