Mom Paula visited a big pet supply store when she was out of town last week and she brought us some gifts back: laser light, food mat, hooded litter box, and a bag of treats. We'd never seen this type of treat before and Mom Paula didn't know if we'd like it or not, but we LOVE them. The treats are Purebites and they are 100% freeze-dried treats. She bought us a (yes, just one!) bag of the chicken flavor not knowing if we'd like them or not. Boy! She made a huge mistake. We both fight her like crazy for these treats. Mom Paula usually leaves the treats on the table beside the couch and we never bother them. However, after feeding us a few of these treats, she left the room for a few minutes and heard a noise. When she walked back into the living room, Truffle was jumping off of the couch with the treat bag in her mouth carrying it away to devour the treats. Unfortunately, Mom Paula didn't have her video camera handy!
Here's a video of us begging for the treats. The video is a little long, but we think you'll enjoy us salivating over these delicious treats. We think Mom Paula needs to go buy a case of them. Unfortunately, they are a little expensive. What does she expect from a couple of diva-in-training ladycats!

ReplyDeleteGoodness, what differences the girls have in treat eating! Truffle is so aggressive and Brulee is a little more delicate. So cute! I hope you keep what's left under lock and key!

ReplyDeleteWe haven't seen the Pure bites either but we sure need to find some. We are not crazy about treats but maybe we would like those. Truffle, it looks like that Mom needs to get you some more for sure. Take care and have a great day.

ReplyDeleteMom Peggy remembered we had a bag of those treats. She just opened them up and we both had the same reaction as you two. Yummy! She needs to be sure to add them to her shopping list.
We love watching that video - Truffle made us laugh and we think she is addicted to those treats - may be she could be on a TV advert for them!

ReplyDeleteWe would LOVE it iffen TBT left a bag of treats out just once. They would get hidden immediately! Too bad ya got caught, Truffle. But ours are kept in a jar with one of those lids it takes thumbs ta open...

ReplyDeleteOnce, my Human ordered some freeze-dried treats in a jar (maybe Grandma-something brand?) that cost like a freaking $7.99 each--she got a jar of chicken and a jar of tuna. By the time she added in shipping, it was a little more than $20.
ReplyDeleteAnd you know what? I wouldn't even TOUCH the stuff! Ha ha ha! She was SOOOOOO mad at me ;-)
So then she ended up grumbling and muttering and she gave them away to other kitties.
That was a really good time! I'm just not a treat boy--and she already knew that, too!
