Wordless Wednesday (almost)
Note about Mom Paula: Thank you for all of your thoughts and purrs yesterday. Mom Paula went to the pulmonologist yesterday and had bunches of tests! The doctor thinks there is nothing seriously wrong (not even an allergy to us!) and thinks it's a simple diagnosis of "post nasal drip" and has prescribed two medications to take for a month and her cough should be gone (after 9 months of continuous coughing). If this doesn't work, the doctor will have to look into her lungs more closely. Please keep those purrs coming.

I find regular old cinnamon hard candy very good at stopping a nagging cough, so that you can do things like sleep and stuff while it heals up naturally.

We hope Mom's medicine helps. Has she tried taking any antihistamines in case it is some sort of allergy causing the drip? Our Mom tends to have a low grade cough, most in the morning, and she does think taking some claritin helps it, though she hasn't done a real scientific study! She has also considered taking benadryl just at night to se if that helps. Anyway, feel better, Paula!
ReplyDeleteThose boxes look like lots of fun! We hope that medicine helps Mom Paula's cough go away.
