Our South Carolina baseball team is doing very well. They are ranked in the top 5 in the nation and won the College World Series the past two years.
When the commercial came on, we both started playing on our Esses! But of course my little sister, Brulee, is still trying to "strike the pose" for her glamour shots! Little sisters!
We want to take a moment to remember Fin from Housecat Confidential, who crossed the Bridge on Monday. We didn't know Fin that well, but our sister-before-us, Sweet Praline was great furriends with Fin. They were both the floofy senior ladycats of the CB for several years. In fact, Fin served with Sweet Praline on Madam Coco's staff back in 2009. Sweet Praline was the Minister of Floofy Affairs and Fin was the Secretary of the Interior. They had so much fun at the Inaugural Ball. We're sure they are both "reigning" over the Rainbow Bridge now and that brings a smile to our face during this sad time. We are sending comforting purrs to Mom Meg.
Sweet Angels at the Bridge
I think the whole internet is sad today - we all remember Fin so fondly.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet post. We are missing Fin too. We unnerstand the sports thing, our Dad is still watchin basketball playoffs. We try to distract him constantly. Happy Thursday. xoxo
ReplyDeleteIt is very sad to lose a good friend. We think that Brulee has a very nice pose. You will have to rule with an iron paw Truffle!
ReplyDeleteWe, too, are missing Fin, and our hearts hurt for Meg.
ReplyDeleteOur mom doesn't really watch sports, but we think we might be missing something, if there are lots of moving things to keep an eye on!
That is for sure, those were two grand ladies, that Fin and Sweet Praline. Love the picture with the bows. We miss Fin too a lot. Take care.
ReplyDeleteWe think your mom should be watching you two and not some silly game!
ReplyDeleteWe bet Fin and Sweet Praline are having a good time at the Bridge right now!
Our Mum doesn't watch sport so if you want to teleport over you are welcome.

My mom misses Admiral's furriends and Admiral too since they have gone away to the Bridge but she knows that we will ALL meet again and with such joy, by and by.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that Sweet Praline will be there to help Fin adjust to life on the Bridge. I'm sure they'll have a grand old time together!
ReplyDeleteI see you are steeping Truffle and Brulee in baseball culture from a very early age. They have no choice but to be fans of your team! Hehe!
We really didn't know Fin either, but we will be purring for her family and friends. We are sure she will be missed.
