Friday at the Movies: Nip Nanner

We were very happy to attend our first Cinco de Mayo party at KC and the  Sherwood's house in May and were thrilled to learn that we'd won one of the prizes.  We know Mom ML has been very busy lately with many changes in her life, but she took the time to send us our prize and it came last week! To our surprise, it was a Yeowww Nip Nanner!  We've seen many other kitties playing with theirs and now we have one.

Truffle loves the Nip and will play and play!  The first thing she does it to put the bitey on the nip toys and the nip nanner was no exception.  Here's a short little video of Truffle with our nip nanner.

Brulee reacts to the nip differently.  She just love to lick it and will lick and lick.  We think it must because she's still a kitten.  Here's a short video of Brulee with our nip nanner.

Many of you know and care for ML, who is the guiding force behind The Cat Blogosphere.  Recently she has been away on family emergency and it is with great sadness that we share the news that ML's beloved Aunt Dorothy passed away on July 1, 2012.  Dorothy was ML's only remaining relative, so we offer our sincerest purrs for ML.  ML has said on her blog that she will be taking some time off, but we're sure your sympathy and condolences will be greatly appreciated.  We love you, Mom ML.

  2. We have got to get one of those nanners! You can just barely make out Truffle bunny-kickin it! Adorable! Brulee seems a tad more interested in flavor. Some of us are like that, too.

  3. Congratulations on the win!
I dont think Brulee licks because she's a kitten.. My Star is 13 and she will lick lick lick a nip toy for..well for hours if she feels like it! Some kitties are lickers, some are biters, and some are batters, batting it around, and others are rollers, and only roll on nip! It just goes to show how unique and special each one is!

  4. Nip banners rule! Mature kitties usually appreciate the nip better than younger ones, so yeah, Brulee will probably get into it a little more when she is a little older.

  15. Yeah, Human, where's MY Niip Nanner??? She put it "away" so I wouldn't get "tired" of it--but now I'm afraid all the nippy goodness might leak out before I get it back!

Truffle, darling, you really want to get all the joy there is to get from that thing, huh?
