We've read about this thing on the CB and it's called a PTU. We've never quite figured out what that means, so the ever curious Truffle decided to investigate first.
Little sister, let me go first to see if this thing is safe.
My turn! My turn!
Whose bright idea was it to close the door?
Mom Paula: Don't worry! Truffle and Brulee are fine! I need to get a refill on their Revolution treatment and I have no idea how much they weigh. I've tried the silly idea of stepping on the scale both with and without them in my arms and that just doesn't work. Their vet told me today that he would weigh each of them at no charge if I wanted to bring them in. I only have one carrier, so I wanted to see if both of them fit inside. As you can see, it worked! At least for a short period. I hope they will both travel together peacefully in the car to the vet. I need to get them in as soon as I'm off the road from traveling for my job.
Just wait! Mom Paula has to go to sleep sometime!
Oh dear. I think it's about time you two got a designer carry bag so you can have your own spaces!
ReplyDeleteHa! that's what we always say... you gotsta sleep some-time....
ReplyDeleteNever trust the PTU!
ReplyDeleteNo matter how cute, how innocent, how safe it may appear. I know.

Oh no, girls! Quick, run UTB! A car ride is imminent!
ReplyDeleteOh dear, Miss Paula...I think Truffle is giving you the stink-eye!
ReplyDeleteBe good, girls, and let your Mama take you in to be weighed. It could be lots worse.

Years back I had two girl cats and they once got into the same carrier on a long car trip. For years and years they would go into one, and then one trip they had enough and got into a big fight until I got them out.
ReplyDeleteI bet you girls come up with a creative way to get back at your human!
ReplyDeleteOoo... captive bootiful ladycats!! *swooping in and stealing away with PTU*
ReplyDeleteDon't go into the box girls - you may get a nasty surprise.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
I am amazed that one small carrier fits not only the two of you but both of your flowing, flauschie, floofalicious tails as well!
ReplyDeleteUh oh...girls...that box...when it comes out, it's not a good thing.
ReplyDeleteOh you two look really mad. Too funny. Bet you don't get in there again for a little while. Gave our Mom a good laugh seeing you two both in the PTU. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteSome vets CHARGE to get a weight? That's insane.
ReplyDeleteA little crowded in there! We have an extra PTU from when Mom Peggy had three kitties. If Mom Paula can figure out how to get it home, it's yours!
ReplyDeleteNothing good ever comes from the PTU being around. Bet the vet is going to sneak in a shot or two while he is at it - never trust a vet either!
ReplyDeleteOh you might not fall for that one again!
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice looking carrier, and the "cargo" is even better to look at.
ReplyDeleteLesson #1; curiosity will get you into a bit of trouble.
Hahaha! Lovely sweethearts!
ReplyDeleteWe wouldn't trust the PTU ever! The human has separate ones for us. She worries the stress might cause a fight.
ReplyDeleteMom Paula needs to train you to step on the scales for her!
Those little sweethearts love each other, I doubt you'll have any problem with them in the same PTU for the ride to the vet!
ReplyDeleteI've seen many different meanings for PTU around the blogosphere.. Pet Transport Unit, Prisoner Transport Unit, Pet Torture Unit, Prisoner Torture Unit... I prefer Pet Transport Unit, MOL, but I bet the cats prefer NONE!
Oh you two are just on an adventure! It won't hurt to get weighed and you will have lots of new folks fawning over you :)
ReplyDeletethe critters in the cottage xo
Oh dear, you two don't look so happy when the door closed
ReplyDeleteOMC you two are so adorable even closed up in that PTU!!!

ReplyDeleteYou poor girls! I've seen an awful lot of a PTU these last few weeks and I don't like it either!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your purrs, sweet girls! I think they are working.

ReplyDeleteOh dear, not the PTU!
