It's that time again! It's time to report how Truffle has been in trouble again. (Truffle: Not me!) We don't know what it is about plastic bags, but Truffle just loves them. As soon as Mom Paula puts one down, Truffle is chewing on it! This last time, Mom Paula turned around to hang up something and look what Truffle did!
Well, the bag said "I feel good!"
There's nothing like plastic!
Mom Paula: I don't know what it is with Truffle and plastic. Sweet Praline always liked to lick plastic, but Truffle loves to bite and chew on it. I've learned I must put bags away as soon as I take something out of them. I know how dangerous they can be! Truffle can be such a little "stinker".
Why is plastic so bad for us kitties... and yet it feels so GOOD?!
ReplyDeleteWe're remembering fallen heroes today as well.

Love that plastic
ReplyDeleteTruffle, I love to chew plastic bags too! Mom has to hide them from me. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness Mom Paula is such a good Mom! Princeton is a stinker too and can be in trouble faster than "two shakes of a lamb's tail". MOL!
ReplyDeleteAlmost makes you wonder if they make plastic out of nip....
ReplyDeleteOh my darling Miss Truffle, I too have a love of plastic bags! *sigh* we have SO much in common.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like fun to play wif bags. :)
ReplyDeleteI like chewing on plastic too, Truffles. There's just something about it...

Dee used to like plastic baggies until he got his head stuck in the handle and it maked him run crazy, yelling "GET IT OFF ME, GET IT OFF ME!!!!" He sticks to paper and boxes now. Not the same, but they don't make him crazy
ReplyDeleteTipp
Bags and boxes... Cat Nirvana! srsly.
ReplyDeleteWe both love bags too but Mum always stands guard over us.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
We don't really bother with plastic bags. That's probably because Allie had an experience like Dee's in the post above!!

I'm just like you, Truffle! Mom Peggy can't get over how quickly I get to any plastic bag that may be within my sight. If I hear one being rattled, I'll wake up out of a sound sleep and find it. MOL!
ReplyDeleteMinchie
Those plastic bags can get the best of us in trouble!
ReplyDeleteI like to lick plastic bags, too, Truffle!!! I've done that since I was a kitten!!!

FaRADaY: Truffle, I's the SAME way. I loves me a good plastic bag to nom on - it drives the humans CRAZY!
ReplyDeleteI haven't shown an interest in them and mommy said don't start NOW, Katie. xx
ReplyDeleteI don't play with plastic bags, but I sit in them after Mom empties them.

Take care sweetie!
ReplyDeleteWe like to play with the plastic too. But Truffle, please be careful. We know that Mom will put those bags away really quickly after you did that. You are a little bit of a stinker. Take care.
ReplyDeleteTruffle, we must be related! I LOVE plastic bags too--although I'm a licker.
ReplyDeleteXX Sylvester
Rascal agrees with you - plastic is for nomming! (if you can get it) (which you can't, because moms won't allow it) Grr & Cocoa are scared of plastic and Midnight just wants to lay on it.
ReplyDeleteMom's heart must have skipped a beat when she first saw you, Truffle, completely inside the plastic bag!
ReplyDeleteI know it looks like fun, but it can suck the life right out of you.
I'm glad your Mom was there to save you.
We have never bothered with plastic unless there is food inside it. It looks like you are having lots of fun with it though Truffle.
ReplyDeleteOH we drew our breaths in when we saw Truffle in the plastic bag. We know you keep a super duper close eye on that Momma Paula.
ReplyDeleteWe will not forget....

ReplyDeleteTruffle I like to chew on plastic stuff too. Mum thinks I have a fetish.

Be careful in that plastic bag, Truffle. One of the cats who came before us, Louie, was doing that and got his head in the handle. Which was scary, because when he ran away from the bag around his neck, it chased him like a huge balloon! The humans thought he sight was pretty funny, but couldn't stop to laugh while trying to get it off of him. So no playing in the plastic bags, or they might chase you!
ReplyDeleteTruffle, you look a lot cuter in that bag that you would with it in your mouth.
ReplyDeleteOui Oui chews plastic too! It drives our mom crazy and she's sure Oui Oui does it when she wants attention.
ReplyDeleteCody is exactly the same. The vet told me it is because they make the bags with something like corn syrup...that attracts the cats
ReplyDeleteCats who like plastic is a behavior called pica and is quite common but to be discouraged. If this something new or sudden I'd ask a vet to rule a medical cause.
ReplyDeleteTruffle has done this since she was a baby. In fact, she loves to chew on many things.
DeleteI love to play with bags too but I don't chew them and I prefer paper. Paper is SO MUCH FUN!
ReplyDeletePurrs
edmund is the plastic-head at chez pierce. he loves to chew bags an' cords, which has cost mommer a bundle.
