We lost two of our siblings to cancer. Sweet Praline was diagnosed with a Mast Cell Tumor in her digestive system at 15 years of age and Beignet developed a Vaccine Associated Sarcoma (VAS) from his vaccination at 11 weeks of age. Both of them are at the bridge together and watching over all of us. We remember both of them with love today.
Mom Paula has several friends who are currently fighting cancer. Her boss, Mike, has stage 4 glioblastoma and has already had two brain surgeries since last November. His most recent surgery was three weeks ago. A high school friend, Rick, who is also her opthamologist had sinus cancer and is back at M.D. Anderson in Houston in ICU. Please keep Mike and Rick in your purrayers. We are honoring several family members and personal friends on this day and everyday.
The CB has a special blog set up for everyone to visit or post today. Please visit We Live Strong Today.

We are honoring and celebrating those who have struggled today too. We think of Praline as one our loved ones when we say we are are taking part in Memory of...
