What is this thing?
Maybe if I get under the bed, I can get it off!
Brulee didn't like it at all. When Mom Paula tried to put the collar on Brulee, Brulee almost freaked out, so Mom Paula took it off immediately. Looks like Brulee won this round, too!
Don't even think about putting that thing on me!
Round One: Truffle and Brulee = 2; Mom Paula = 0
Flashback - Just thought you'd like to see how much we've grown since last year! We were also still a little naive, so we allowed Mom Paula to take our pictures!
Truffle 2011 (6 months old)
Brulee 2011 (3 months old)
You girls are much nicer than we were. Ichiro nearly got stuck under the futon when the Woman tried to put one on him!
ReplyDeleteGood job, ladies. Fool me once, shame on you...fool me twice, shame on me!
ReplyDeleteEEEEK! I had awful flashbacks when I saw you two! My human did the same thing to me many years ago... and I pretty much did the same thing as you girls, except I hid under the desk instead of the bed.
ReplyDeleteNot on the Gs either, gals! Not a one of them enjoys anything that jingles! Unless you count the treat bag (which is actually regular cat food, but don't tell them, okay? They can't have treats anymore on accounta Gandalf's FLUTD and crystals).
ReplyDeleteI hate when mom and dad try to put anything around my neck, too. Although I will say- yesterday they put my harness and leash on and let me lay out on the porch with them in the sun.
ReplyDeleteWay to go, ladies! We hope your human doesn't attempt that (or worse...shudder) again!
ReplyDeleteWe are very proud of you girls! We don't like things choking our necks either. Brulee, we can see how mad you are because your fur horns are really puffed up!
ReplyDeleteAwww, you were so cute!
ReplyDeleteBut don't give mommy ideas. I don't even like regular collars (and she hasn't gotten me one yet--oops, maybe that's my Christmas pressie. Oh, crap!)
Purrhaps your Mom could wear the collar girls - then you'd know where she was!
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
That silly guy Raz actually let Mom put a Christmas collar on him for his Christmas card pic. Silly guy, he'll learn....
ReplyDeleteThe Florida Furkids
Oh no girls, that is scary with those bells making that racket!
ReplyDeleteWhile the color is colorful and festive, we can understand why they don't want to wear them.
ReplyDeleteWe'd think the bells (noise) would eventually get to you all anyway.
The Boys never liked the idea of collars (bells or otherwise) either.
Poor little baby! Have humans!!!
ReplyDeleteAdorable! Er...maybe we should say, how Horrible! And with bells, no less! Purrs, not bells...
ReplyDeleteargh. Now Mommy has ideas...
ReplyDeleteYou two HAVE grown!
The only one around here that will come anywhere close to allowing stuff like that is Two Two and doesn't like it all. Good job running away Truffles. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteOh my Momma got her squee on with those baby pictures. But we are like you two we hate anything we have to wear and we act up.
ReplyDeleteSissy wears a regular collar, but the human hasn't even thought about putting a holiday collar on her. We hope you don't give her ideas!
ReplyDeletePee Ess: I (Jenna) am microchipped because I would bounce off the wall if the human tried to put a collar on me :)
I would say you have two extremely smart cats!
ReplyDeleteDITTO! We'd a done the very same thing! *shudder*
ReplyDeleteYes, last year Mama cornered you both when you were naive and helpless. This year you both know better. Concatulations on the win!
ReplyDeleteWe do not do that either.
ReplyDeleteMom tried once or twice and gave up to save herself ;) heehee
Your Mom may have to photoshop like ours ;)
Purrs Tillie and Georgia,
Tiger,Treasure,JJ and Julie
you are older and wiser!
ReplyDeleteGood job! You two showed Mom Paula!
ReplyDeleteWell, it was a cute idea! And you two did look cute in the collars last year. We girls don't like wearing anything but strangely Carl does like wearing ties.
ReplyDeleteOMC!!! I would have run so fast I would have burnt up carpet!! But then, I am the cat who can't be picked up...paw pats, Savannah
