Back to the Vet

Brulee is scheduled to go back to the vet this morning to get her second shot.  Mom Paula must pretreat her with Benadryl before going because Brulee has had reactions to the shots in the past.  Last year, the vet gave both the rabies and vaccination in the same shot and Brulee didn't do so well. This year, the vet is separating the shots.  Brulee received her rabies shot in December and is getting her annual FVRCP vaccination today.
What do you mean I have to go back to the vet???

  1. I think you look a bit annoyed by that Brulee. And we are laughing at your ear tuffs with that expression...

  2. Brulee, you do NOT look happy. And I do NOT blame you!

  3. What a face! Good luck today, Brulee.

You probably answered this before, but why do you get the annual rabies shot when there is now a 3-year shot? If she has a reaction to the vaccination, would it be safer to do it less frequently? We know that some cities don't care and say you have to get a shot every year for licensing purposes.

  5. Good luck at the vets Brulee - perhaps you'll be lucky and the vet will give you a kiss instead of your shot!

  10. good luck Brulee. though with the look of death and the horns, maybe you can scare the v-e-t into submission and get to skip it :)

  11. Our beloved Himmie, Tabitha, had to have separate vaccinations. She'd get really sick otherwise and hide in the closet! We will send purrs your way :)

  21. We hope it all goes well, sweetie! We know we shouldn't laugh, but your horns are bigger than your ears and they are so cute we just had to. Too bad one of our kitties doesn't have some. But maybe its better that way, our mom would be always fiddling with them.
