Monday Surprise
You've already seen the toys and socks we leave in the hallway for Mom Paula, but each evening, we bring one of our toys to bed to sleep with us. Mom Paula woke up this weekend and all of these toys were on her bed. Ladycats must have something to play with during the evening when Mom is asleep. Funny thing is all of these have disappeared during the day.

ReplyDeleteYou do have quite an assortment of toys on that bed. Sometimes Ichiro brings a mouse with him but that's all.

Once in awhile we will bring our toys to bed with us. When Sable was a kitten, he used to leave his toys in a neat row at the foot of mom's bed. He wanted to show her what a good hunter he was!

I don't bring toys to bed.
ReplyDeleteBut I turn around a lot so as to massage Mom's lower legs. When they put the massager on her legs at the hospital, she said she kept thinking it was me rubbing her legs.

ReplyDeleteClever girls! It is a good idea to bring lots of toys to bed, then you have plenty of choice when you want to play.
ReplyDeleteI think this is a very good idea. You never know when the urge to play may strike in the wee hours of the morning, and I think your Mom would rather you have toys to play with instead of biting her toes!

You girls are watching yourselves on that monitor aren't you??? Well, that's okay--no better sow in town than two beautimous LadyCats! Those are some pawsome toys, by the way. Sometimes I bring a toy to the human in the night but she doesn't usually understand what a wonderful gift it is. She just yells at me to go away and not play on the bed. Sheesh! Make up your mind, Human--do you want a friendly at or not?
ReplyDeleteYou are lucky your mom allows toys in bed! We aren't allowed to do anything that would cause the bed to shake, not even pick our toes. That's what happens when the human is an ogre.
ReplyDeleteOh that is just TOO precious - we do that too! We can't believe mew does it too! Actually it's usually only Mr Fuzzle that does it - Meowmy thinks it is a great honour and privilege to be given a present by her little man! Especially as he is FAR to delicate a creature to do ANY actual hunting MOL!
