Truffle checking out the floof
Brulee checking out the floof
Grooming us each day is a full time job. Mom Paula said she had to groom Angel Sweet Praline twice a day, too, but that Sweet Praline loved to be groomed. We're not so sure we like it yet, but Mom Paula continues to work with us to get us comfortable with our grooming tools: a rotating tooth comb, a brush, and the Furminator (for mats). It's still tough to get Brulee's belly because she fights it, but she is getting better.
Mom says she's glad that none of us mat. She remembers what it was like when she had himmies and doesn't want to do that again.

And here we thought Gemini is secretly breeding another cat in her fur!
ReplyDeleteImpressive floof!!! Figgy mats a lot and he fights mom...he needs to learn to be better about it like you girls.
ReplyDeleteYowsers, that is lots of floof for sure! You could make great kitty fur jewelry with your lovely furs, beautiful Ladycats!
ReplyDeleteYour mommy needs to save all that floof from the brushing and have yarn made from it for knitting. Yep, have someone knit a sweater and she could have her furbabies with her on every trip :)
ReplyDeleteSurely there is a use for all that floof....
ReplyDeleteWhat a great Mommy you have. That looks like lots of work!
Oh my goodness! That's a lot of fur! You could knit a whole other kitty!
ReplyDeleteMy dears, I too am not sure about this brushing thing.
ReplyDeleteWe have SO much in common...
What amazing amounts of floor! Can you come and teach Mom how to make me let her brush me? Dad mostly only manages to brush my spine!
ReplyDeleteGirls, brushing is AWESOME! I really do love it. I think I even love it more than catnip! Or... catnip and brushing at the same time! I think I would pass out from so much pleasure!
ReplyDeleteThat is an amazing amount of floof! The peeps can't convince Newton that getting brushed is fun, and the result is that he has to get manscaped when he is matted. You certainly don't want that. (We guess it would be ladyscaped in your case, but still, you don't want it!)
ReplyDeleteWe saw your post yesterday and our first thought was floof, but then we said nah, surely that must be cotton balls!
ReplyDeleteThat was all your floof? OMC, that's a lot of fur. LOL. Someone could make a sweater or an afghan with all your furs. :-)
That's a whole lot of floof for one day!
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Hmm, lots of floof is right. Maybe you can take it and make little coats for the girls out of it. (Like one would do with sheep wool!)
ReplyDeleteWowee-Zowee good thing your Mom is such a good groomer!
ReplyDeleteThat's some lovely floof. We'd knit sweaters out of it!
ReplyDeleteIf you find someone with a spinning wheel, they could make some yarn out of your floof so you could have yarn balls to play with. Win-Win!
ReplyDeleteHarry, Dexter and Tipp
That floof is so beautiful we think Mom Paula should auction it off in the next auction!
ReplyDeleteThat is amazing pretty girls, the floof you got fur sure!
ReplyDeleteEheheh! Amazing!
ReplyDeleteEheheh! Amazing!
ReplyDeleteWe think Mom Paula should get a medal or something!
ReplyDeleteJust remember,
ReplyDeleteif you have a hairball, go to your sandbox to get rid of it. That's what I do.
Mandu
That is stunning floof, and a good job your Mum is so attentive. I bet it feels gorgeous, just like you.
ReplyDeleteLittle Red here is really not into being groomed and he definitely needs it. Magic loves it and would let me brush her into a sphinx cat!
Girls I am IMPRESSED!
ReplyDeleteYou COULD make cotton balls out of that floof!
ReplyDeleteI don't have lots of floof, but Mommy does comb me. It kinda gets all my back itchies. But I still can't decide whether I like tummy combing. I think I like rubbies better there.
ReplyDeleteQUINN
that was your floof??? I thought it was cottonballs!!!
ReplyDeleteWe cannot believe how often you have to have your fluffiness brushed. Giulietta is the only one who requires this kind of grooming, and not nearly to the same degree. Even if you don't always like it, you are so fortunate that your mom has taken on the commitment to keep you both so gorgeous. Purrs and hugs from the kitties at The Cat on My Head, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josettte

ReplyDeleteNot to long to go and you'll have created a clone of you! BOL!!
That's a LOT of excess fur. You could use it as packing for gifts.
Hey - did you know you were THIS versatile ??
Thank you for joining Thankful Thursday again and I look forward to your next post. *waves paw* :=o)
