Happy 2nd Birthday Truffle

Would you believe that it's Truffle's 2nd birthday today?  It's also the birthday of Angel Beignet, her brother.

Mom Paula remembers that first picture she received from Mom Terri after Truffle and Beignet (little angel) were born.  Kitty Mom Chloe only had two kittens in the litter:  a little boy who was to be named Beignet and a little girl: who was to be named Truffle.

Week 7 0 - Truffle sure did like to talk in her pictures and that's what convinced 

Mom Paula to choose her.

Just look at that mischievousness look Truffle is giving Mom Terri at 8 weeks old.  

This should have been our sign that Truffle was going to be a handful

.This picture shows how much Truffle loved her little brother, Beignet.  Just look at the trust in his eyes as he leans over to her neck for comfort.  They were 10 weeks old in this picture.

In this photo, Truffle and Beignet were talking about leaving to live with Mom Paula in one more week.  Truffle is on the left and Beignet is on the right.  Unfortunately a few days later, Truffle's little brother Beignet went to the bridge and Truffle became an only child.  

Mom Paula was so excited to receive this classic ladycat pose of Truffle at 12 weeks of age.  The next week, Truffle came to life with Mom Paula and life a full of love, laughter,  anxiousness, and exploration for Truffle and Mom Paula until she decided to get a little sister for Truffle. (More on that story in the future...)

Truffle has grown into a beautiful  ladycat and today she turns 2 years old.  Reminds us of the old song, "You must have been a beautiful baby, cause baby just look at you now..."
