Brulee's Step Stool
Several years ago when Mom Paula moved back into her house and was making some decent money (pre 13 surgeries), she decided to purchase new furniture for each room. She didn't want anything in the house that was shared with the ex-husband. It was always her dream to get a four-poster rice bed and that's what she got. However, she had problems getting into the bed because it's so high from the ground and Mom Paula is less than 5 feet tall. The furniture store suggested she purchase this step stool. Brulee thinks the step stool is just for her. When she comes into the bedroom to jump on the bed, she jumps up via the steps.

The stairway to sweet slumberland. We have steps two and so important as cats get older.

ReplyDeleteWhen will Mom Paula learn all things belong to kitties! We hope Mom Paula didn't have trouble getting into bed when she came for a visit here last year!
ReplyDeletethat is much nicer than the box mom puts next to the bed for maestro. :) our grandpa built the new bed in their house and mom's first comment when she saw it was "when are you building steps for mom" (our grandma isn't very tall either) MOL

ReplyDeleteMom puts a small tote at the end of the bed so Tiger(who has bad arthritis)can climb up. The bed is not high, but Tiger needs the help.

Why should that step stool be the only thing in the house that ISN'T owned by one or both of the kitties?
ReplyDeleteWe're with you, Brulee. Why make the big jump up, when you can climb up the steps? Some of us go half way around the room to avoid a jump.
