Happy 4th of July!

Today is Independence  Day (aka 4th of July) in the United States.  We hope all of our furriends have a safe and happy holiday and that you don't have suffer through too many of those noise crackers!

    I think there oughta be a law against all that stuff! Oh wait! There *IS* a law (well in SF anyway) and everyone just IGNORES it and sets off seventy gajillion firecrackers! ::shudder:: I hope you girls have prepared excellent hidey holes ;-)

    Paws crossed that it won't be too bad here - we live in nice hills where people are smart enough not to set off personal fireworks (it IS a fire zone here!), and the closest fireworks show already happened on Sunday, but it wasn't loud enough to even scare the dog.

    They have postponed a lot of the organized fireworks and parades due to the storms/rain. Fireworks are legal here but Mom doesn't buy cause they are so expensive.
