Thunder Boomers

Truffle heard some thunder boomers last night and crawled under the bed covers with Mom Paula.

This morning there were more thunder boomers and they shook the house, so both of us went UTB. We wouldn't even come out for a treat or to tell Mom Paula "good-bye".

 The funny thing is that those noisy fire crackers didn't bother us at all, but the thunder boomers are a different story.

    Thunder boomies can be very scary sometimes. Under the bed is the best place to be!

    What a bummer the thunderstorm upset you kitties so much. :-( Of course it is worse than fireworks - thunderstorms are real!

    We don't blame you at all. Our house was hit by lightning yesterday and the head peep couldn't find Pierre at all afterward. He won't tell where his safe, new hiding spot was, either.

    During bad thunderstorms, Tucker and Kola both run under the bed and stay there - and they dislike each other, so you know they must be scared. It's funny about you two and the difference between thunder and fireworks.
