Messed Up

We're very frustrated with the technology in our house right now.  We have a computer that was purchased less than 2 years ago and a monitor that is 6 months old.  Mom Paula came home Sunday after being at a conference for 4 days to find a monitor not working.  At first, she thought it was the monitor, but now it's possibly the computer.  Luckily, we bought a Carbonite subscription to back up our files, so we do have access to all of our photos and files.  We're also lucky that we bought an extended warranty for the computer from Square Trade.  We're working with Square Trade right now to see if the computer can be fixed because Mom Paula hasn't backed up her email files. We're also lucky that Mom Paula made a little extra money consulting in December and was able to purchase an inexpensive laptop. so with Carbonite and the laptop, we're able to continue blogging.  We've never missed a day blogging in 3 1/2 years and we don't want to start now.  Please keep your paws crossed.
Brulee may be a little fuzzy, but at least you can still see her!, which is more than we can about the monitor right now.  MOL

  2. We sympathise with your Mom - our internet went down for four days a couple of weeks ago and our telephone/internet supplier had to send someone and and set it right again.

  3. We hate 'puter problems. We hope yours get worked out real quick. The mom didn't know you needed to back up email files.

    1. We have our email forwarded to Outlook so we can keep the files organized. This will teach us that we need to back up our files more often. We already lost all our emails from Mom Terri from when we were kittens when we were transferring files from our old computer.

  4. Nothing more stressful than having computer problems! Mom Peggy is very lucky our Uncle Dan is a computer genius and he helps us.

  14. YIKES....we're glad you didn't lose anything. Our Mom has Carbonite too....she's sooooo worried about losing precious photos. We understand not wanting to miss a day posting....we never have either. Hope the computer woes get fixed soon.
