Things are a little more harmonious around here, but Truffle still isn't getting real close to Brulee. Mom Paula thinks she heard a hiss last night, but at least Truffle is walking past Brulee now and not acting anxious. Truffle just can't understand why it smells so different in the house this week.
Truffle: Something smells funny around here...
Brulee: Who? Not me???
Have you tried Felliway? It werks great.
ReplyDeleteGod that the hissing is going away.
ReplyDeleteMaybe over the weekend, with you there,
things will be even better.
Purrs Georgia and Julie,
Treasure and JJ
I'm sure things will be back to normal, given just a little more time...
ReplyDeleteI agree with Summer, they just need a bit of time! xx
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping for no more hissing.
ReplyDeleteWe're hoping things settle down soon.

I have to agree with everyone. Truffles will calm down soon. She just doesn't realize that Brulee really is Brulee really is her. Cats do so much with their smelling devices. We sure send tons of purrs to everyone.
ReplyDeleteIn another day or so we think they'll be back to their normal ways.

ReplyDeleteBrulee, I totally understand. You should see how Wally treats me when I come home from the vet. Now Wally has to go whenever I go so he'll smell the same. ~Ernie
ReplyDeleteTruffle - you keep that up and next time you will have to go along for "moral support"....
ReplyDeleteI am glad you are tolerating each other again. Those smells just gotta be right!
ReplyDeletePoor Truffle. We are sure it will take a little time for Brulee to smell "normal" again to her.
ReplyDeleteThose vet smells coming home take a lot of getting used to. I used to hiss at Eric all the time because I knew that even though it looked like him, it was an alien really.
ReplyDeletePoor babies. Things will get back to normal soon, hopefully :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you two get along again soon.
ReplyDeleteawwww, poor girls. Hopefully smell-o-vision will get back to normal very soon!
ReplyDeleteThe Feliway should kick in soon. I wish they made for for humans. It's been an awfully stressful few weeks.
ReplyDeleteMom Paula has Tranxene (which is a mild tranquilizer) that she has to use on occassions.
DeleteSounds like things are getting closer and closer to normal. Paws and fingers crossed for more of the same! :)
ReplyDeleteWe think the girls need a little time before everything comes back to normal ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteKeep my paws crossed for NO more hissing !
