We hope everyone survived those irritating noise crackers yesterday. Brulee did just fine and sat beside Mom Paula all night, while Truffle was under the bed for a couple of hours. The fireworks didn't used to bother Truffle. In fact, she used to sit at the window and watch them, but for some reason during the last year, loud noises scare Truffle.
When are those annoying fire crackers going to stop?
Since Truffle was still hiding UTB, Brulee volunteered to post for a Sunday Selfie today. Her fur horns were sticking up higher than normal. Even Grandma Faye made a comment about her horns. We hope everyone has a more relaxing day without all of the noise crackers today.

I luvs your fur horns!
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday! My human spent a good portion of the evening playing with me and doing treats for tricks, even though most of the loud noises were way off in the background. So I had fun!
ReplyDeleteBrulee looks a little less than thrilled with all that noise, too. We don't blame her. Thank cod and toona the Fourth of July only comes once a year!
ReplyDeleteThe ear tufts are MORE than impresive!
ReplyDeleteThe fireworks got your horns up?

Excellent selfie, Brulee! It was real noisy here last night. Me and Wally were a little out of sorts about it, but Zoey got really scared and hid under the sofa. The mom finally put her in her bedroom with all the windows closed so she'd feel more safe. We're glad the boomers are over now. ~Ernie
ReplyDeleteO mi Cod, those fireworks were HAIR-RASING. Lookit that Fur rising.....! Lone Star was right, those tufts look like HORNS!
ReplyDeleteThose fur horns are adorable :)
ReplyDeleteThat is such a great selfie! Hey, our boomy noises were really annoying last night, way to loud and way too close.
ReplyDeleteMom Peggy kept the windows closed, turned on the a/c and had the tv on pretty loud and we could still hear those boomers! She stuck her head outside once later and it smelled awful...smoke from those boomers. YUCK!
ReplyDeleteMY goodness! You look stupendous beautiful girl! I spent some time on Mommy's lap while the crackers went off and some time poised in the hallway. xox
ReplyDeleteYup, those horns are sticking up super high. Great picture. Have a good day.
ReplyDeleteWe were pleased that although there were lots of fireworks, they were much quieter than those in Duvall. We watched out over the lake from the sun room, well except Gemini who did get scared by one particularly loud burst.
ReplyDeleteBrulee you look like a lot of us feel this morning!
ReplyDeleteCome and read about our "adventure" on the 4th.
Great selfie!

Your fur horns are so adorable and always make us giggle. It wouldn't be you if you didn't have them. i never used to be bothered by loud noises either until the 2nd year I lived here. That year we had one loud crack of thunder that made M & D jump because it seemed like it hit the house. Ever since that, I head for the basement or UTB if there is a loud noise. I didn't have to hide last night tho - M says she didn't think our real close neighbors were shooting any off - just a few a couple of blocks away.
ReplyDeleteAwwww. You both are, well, sweet!
ReplyDeleteBrulee, I sure like your fur horns!
ReplyDeleteHappy 4th of July - late! We love those fur horns; in their younger years, our late Mikey and Jonny had wonderful fur horns, too.
ReplyDeleteWowwzers! Those fireworks must has been noisy!

I thought your hairs stood up because of the fireworks ! Except Arthur who hides in the basement, the others don't bother at all !
ReplyDeleteBrulee that's some scary fur there! It was really loud here, the dogs were way more scared them me, of course. Purrs, Rhette.
ReplyDeleteOMC! Those are spectacular fur horns! No boomer noises here. Fireworks aren't allowed here close enough for us to hear them. We aren't afraid anyway, though, because we grew up next door to Disneyland!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great selfie with your fur horns Brulee.
ReplyDeleteThose horns ! That's all that noise, for sure ! Great selfie, Brulee ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteThat's IT! Mum says a catnap attempt is on the cards Mum Paula!!!
ReplyDeleteTruffle, you look as if you were caught in a wind machine and not too happy about it. We have to say that we have never seen another cat with fur horns. You are a unique kitty indeed.
