Meowbox Review and Giveaway

Subscriptions for products have been around for a long time.  Mom Paula remembers getting recipe cards, books, makeup, and other items through a subscription service. Now, there is a subscription service specifically for cats. The meowbox is a monthly subscription box specifically designed for us kitties.  It's loaded with fun toys and yummy goodies and it's delivered to your door!  What makes this subscription unique is that all of the edible treats are made in Canada or the United States.  Some of the items come from small business and may include well-made handcrafted toys and treats.  Your humans also have the option to receive the meowbox with no edible items if there are picky kitties or those with special dietary restrictions in your home.  The food is replaced with more toys and goodies.

We received an email when the meowbox was shipped to us.  What was so special about this email is that with every meowbox you buy, there is a promotion called "One Box Can" and meowbox gives a can of food to a shelter cat, on your behalf.  The email included a link to track the item(s) that were sent to a shelter.  We were excited to discover that our recipient is the Central Oklahoma Humane Society.  Our package hasn't arrived yet, but we're sure it will be there soon!  This is a cat subscription box that is really special.  The meowbox is personalized by hand with the names of the kitties who live in the household.

Truffle and Brulee were so excited about their meowbox that Mom Paula couldn't put any of the items out for a great photograph because one of us always had our head inside the box or was walking away with one of the items.  We received the following items in the December meowbox

• Bavarian Cat Toy - Festive Holiday Pillow Toy.  This toy is filled with valerian.  We must admit that this was the first time we'd tried valerian and it was Truffle's favorite.
• Pet Candy - Catnip Penny Candy. These candy-shaped toys were filled with farm-grown fresh catnip.  
• Ruff and Whiskerz - Wildlife Rodentz.  This is a realistic looking creature that kitties love to chase.  It is designed and packaged using recycled materials.
• Pet Greens - Semi-Moist Trout Treats.  Each treat contains real meat as the first ingredient plus the fish oil provides nourishing Omega-3 fatty acids.  
• Petstages - Go Buggy.  This toy is shaped like a bug and has a strong scent we kitties love.  It's shaped so to make it easy for us to bat and carry.  This was the first toy Brulee played with.
• Zen Clipper - Discount Card.  There was a card included to receive a $3.95 discount on the Zen Clippers.  We ordered these clippers and can't wait to try them out.

Subscriptions for the meowbox can be purchased for one month for $32.95, 3 months for $27.95 ($83.85 upfront), or 6 months for $22.95 ($137.70 upfront).  Shipping is free and can be shipped to Canada, the US, or the UK.  Each box will include 5-7 items.

Truffle and Brulee loved the items in the meowbox so much that Mom Paula had to hold it in her hand to get a photography.
