Don't you just love this photo of Truffle when she was 5 weeks old? Truffle hadn't picked Mom Paula yet, but she was reaching out to her through this photo that Mom Terri sent her to say, "I'm yours." Mom Paula had lost Sweet Praline two months earlier and was still depressed, but this photo brought some laughter and a smile to her heart so that she was ready to open it up to another fur child. Two weeks later, Mom Paula visited and Truffle immediately picked her. It was two more months before Truffle could come live with Mom Paula permanently, but the bond was already there!
