We thought we'd go back a few years (2011) and show you a photo of Brulee when she was 3 weeks old. You'll find it very interesting how dark she was as a kitten. The Silver Shaded Persians are born dark and get lighter as they get older. If you didn't know any better, you'd think Brulee was a tabby. Wasn't she adorable?

Such a big (and beautiful) difference!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lil cutie pie! And of course she's gorgeous now!
ReplyDeleteCute then... cute now!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe she is so WHITE!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a difference! Brulee is more elegant now. P.S. we're not blog hopping as much but stopping by when we can.
ReplyDeleteIf it is possible, you have gotten more lovely Brulee :)

Brulee, you've gone from cutie to beauty!
ReplyDeleteMoms all over are squeeing at Brulee's kitten photo and ManCats are all hyperventilating from her grown up beauty!

We loved your baby picture Brulee and we can see how much you have grown since then.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely adorable!
ReplyDeleteWow, Brulee was really dark as a kitten! It is just the opposite with Siamese - they start out all white and get their points and darker as they grow older. Lita used to be much lighter than she is now.
ReplyDeleteLove your baby picture but Mom is in love with your fur horns that you have grown into as lovely lady cat.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness--she was so dark then, wasn't she? It's interesting, Siamese get darker as they get older! Brulee and Chey are moving apart! :).
ReplyDeleteThat is such a cute baby photo of Brulee! She has become such a gorgeous ladycat. It is really interesting how her colors lightened over time.

Oh wow! She looks so different now!
ReplyDeleteYorkies are similar where they are really dark as puppies and then lighten up as they get older.
ReplyDeleteOh my, you were so small!!! :)
ReplyDeleteWow what a difference - so cute as a kitten
ReplyDeleteWow, I had no idea their fur gets lighter. You're right, I would've assume a fluffy tabby! So cute as a kitten and so beautiful as an adult!
ReplyDeleteShe was precious. My Edison was so white and fluffy when he was about 8 weeks old. Fluffy kittens are the cutest. So interesting that her colors changed!!
ReplyDeleteBoth girls are adorable.
ReplyDeleteAwww. Sweet purfection :-)
ReplyDeleteCute and stunning!
ReplyDeleteShe was such a adorable kitten and has grown into such a beautiful cat! So stunning, you can tell she is loved and well cared for.
ReplyDeleteOMC - Brulee sure was adorable, and she's grown in a beautiful adult.
ReplyDeleteSo precious and adorable! Kind of like babies who are born with one color hair, but end of with totally different color. My daughter was born with jet black hair, but now it's it's light brown.
ReplyDeleteOmg. So cute!!!! I wanna cuddle
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! My Ragdoll Jazz was nearly all white - his chocolate colors took several years to develop! Purrs from Deb and the Zee/Zoey kitties
ReplyDeleteOh it's so cool to see her as a kitten - I've never seen a Persian kitten before and to your point, they look so different as adults. So beautiful!
ReplyDeleteInteresting that they are born dark like that! She sure was adorable, and she's a real beauty now. So is Truffle too of course!

I love seeing kitty baby pictures. It's so fun to see how "rounded" they were when little. Brulée's head when she was a baby was shaped like a perfect circle! What a cutie and a beauty she was and is. ♥
ReplyDeleteI think it is really interesting how her fur changed color with time. I didn't realize that some cat breeds did that.
ReplyDeleteOh wow! Her coat really lightened up! I wish my lighter hairs were that flattering!
ReplyDeleteShe was quite dark then but so Purrfect now.
ReplyDeleteOMG! She is so adorable! From furry little fluffball to elegant sophistication. Simply gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome before & after photos!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet itty bitty kitten pic!
ReplyDeleteThis is just too much cuteness to deal with
