Don't Touch Me
Truffle can be a sociable little Persian when she wants to be. She loves to play, especially with Brulee. Brulee, however, is the stereotypical little Persian and likes to lie around looking beautiful. I can always tell when Truffle is in a playful mood. She walks into the living room with her little strut and heads straight for Brulee. Sometimes, Brulee will allow Truffle a few licks on her forehead and then she will hiss. This usually doesn't deter Truffle and a scuffle soon follows. I've learned that when this happens, I need to pull out the feather wand (one of many) to get Truffle's attention. What's funny is that when I pull out the wand, Brulee goes crazy and wants to play too. They are such cute little stinkers. I captured this photo of the two of them and the look on Brulee's face says it all.

Those two are funny little girls!
ReplyDeleteMOL,dat eggspreshun shure does say everything!
ReplyDeleteGuess Brulee is afraid Truffle will mess up her furs ;)
ReplyDeleteMOL!
Purrs Georgia and Julie,
Treasure and JJ
Maybe they are both watching to see who is going to back off first!
ReplyDeleteWe see that look on Gemini's face around here ALL THE TIME.
ReplyDeletethat's a great picture....
ReplyDeleteBrulee sounds just like Dragonheart! He used to love to play when he was younger, though, but now he gets grumpy when one of the others wants to wrestle, unless HE decides its wrestling time!
ReplyDeleteOh my! No words needed!
ReplyDeleteTeehee, that face does say it all!
ReplyDeleteThat really is quite the look!!!
ReplyDeleteSince Bear's an "only child" I understand this on a different level. I know that strut. Then if I don't play, he'll wander around looking for trouble to cause. When he starts snorting a catastrophe is in the making. It hardly ever gets that far anymore because I've learned to drop everything when I see that "I'm a fierce hunter" strut.
ReplyDeleteI certainly agree! No words needed. The situation is as plain as the nose on her face!!
ReplyDeleteenuf already!
ReplyDeleteBrulee is giving Truffle quite the stink eye!
ReplyDeleteThey are such cuties.
ReplyDeleteThat is certainly a "back off" look! Hen does that to Murray and he doesn't seem to care! Love the pic!
ReplyDeleteWe have two cats. Our older cat Lily "tolerates" Lloyd ;)
ReplyDeleteThey have never been cuddly with each other, they each do their own thing. The only time they "team up", is when they see a bird pass by the window :)
BOL - that is such a cute photo!
ReplyDeleteOne of our friends fostered two kittens and they acted just the same! Sometimes kitties just need a little alone time apart from their fur-siblings, but we are glad you are able to deter the scuffle with the distracting method. What a beautiful bunch of purrballs!
ReplyDeleteHAHAHAHA! Karma just has to look at Seren, and she starts meow-complaints. "He LOOKED at me, he's gonna TOUCH me, keep him AWAY!" Hilarious.
ReplyDeleteThat is definitely a "Don't Touch me!" stinky eye. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
ReplyDeleteThat is a serious dirty look. :) My cats are more of the slap first, stare later type when their "buddies" get too far into their space. (But they're quick to make up!)
ReplyDeleteYep! I think we all know what that look means LOL! There is definitely no mistaking it!
ReplyDeleteAren't they funny?! I love the difference in personalities and I love watching my pack interact too.
ReplyDeleteI would back away from that look too!
ReplyDeleteThese two really are so funny together! At least they do get to play together, even if it's not exactly With each other, lol!
ReplyDeleteLove & biscuits,
Dogs Luv Us and We Luv Them

That face on Brulee is priceless and I love how it isn't deterring Truffle at all!!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! This is the look Rosie (our cat) sometimes gives Ruby (our dog) when she tries to snuggle.
