Happy 5th Birthday Truffle

Five years ago on this date, our sweet little Truffle came into this world.  We're so lucky Mom Terri took lots of photos and sent them to Mom Paula from day 1.  Truffle was 2.9 oz and looked like a little tabby kitten except for her white face.  Mom Paula was warned that silver shaded Persians were born dark and lightened as they grew older.  The red mark you see on her foot was polish that was applied to her toe so we could tell the difference between Truffle and her brother, Beignet.  Truffle captured Mom Paula's heart from day 1.

Truffle has grown into a beautiful silver shaded Persian.  Her coat has lightened to the base coat of white with the silver tips that give her the silver shaded look.  She has enormous green eyes that can look into your soul when she looks at you.
