Loving Pets Cat Bowls Review and Giveaway

Have you ever gone to the pet stores and were frustrated because all of the bowls were more for dogs than cats and your only choice was a stainless steel or plastic bowl with no style?  Mom Paula usually comes home very frustrated when she can't find a cat food bowl for us that is stylish, functional, and safe for us.  When she traveled to Global Pet Expo a couple of months ago, she saw some lovely cat bowls from Loving Pets.  They sent us a couple of samples to try out and share with you.
Brulee and Truffle enjoy their kibble from the Silent Diners™ Elevated Cat Diner

We shared our review of the Silent Diners™ Elevated Cat Diner a couple of days ago.  Mom Paula liked this dining solution because the bowls aren't as deep as some, was on an elevated stand, and there were two bowls.  We wouldn't eat our wet food in these bowls because Truffle would push Brulee away from the food and Brulee is already "hesitant" when eating her wet food.  However, the bowls were purrfect for us to eat our kibble.  The bowls are small enough that we don't overeat and each of us has the right portion.  Many of you commented that your cats wouldn't eat that closely together but you could use the bowls for water and food.  The only problem Mom Paula had with these bowls is that we made a mess below them.  The solution was the Bella Spill-Proof Cat Mat.
The Bella Spill-Proof Cat Mat

The Bella Spill-Proof Cat Mat is just the right size for up to three Loving Pets cat bowls.  The mat is fish-shaped and stylishly prevents splashes and retains spills.  The mat has raised edges to contain maximum spillage.  The mat is slip-resistant, has a fish-scale surface, and anti-skid feed to prevent the mat from slipping, sliding, making noise, and avoiding floor damage.  Food and water can be easily removed from the unique pour spout that is formed in the tail.  The mat is non-toxic, BPA-free, and quality tested for both indoor and outdoor use.  Brulee was a little hesitant to approach her bowl at first when it was placed on the mat, but she quickly came to her food bowl and began eating.  Mom Paula loves the mat because any mess on the floor from the bowls is easily cleaned up.
Milano Collection™ Designer Cat Dishes

We like to think we're refined kitties who are accustomed to the finer things in life.  We were very impressed with the two bowls we received from the Milano Collection™ Designer Cat Dishes.  This collection has beautiful full color designs along with the advantages of a stainless steel feeding dish. The stainless steel dish fits into the skid-free rubber base.  The stainless steel bowl removes easily for cleaning and is dishwasher safe.  The designer shell is made from BPA-free ABS plastic.  There are three designs:  Spoiled Leopard, Diva Zebra, and  Princess Polka Dot.  When Mom Paula put these on the floor, Truffle immediately claimed the Diva dish.

  13. I too like stylish dishes but.. right now my cat is eating the most (she has advanced kidney issues so getting her to eat is a challenge) from very shallow stainless steel dishes. Shallow has become an issue. So if it works... (I once saw a crystal cat dish at Tiffany's - I think - and to this day wished I bought eat just to say my cat has Breakfast in ... you get it.)

  17. These look very stylish but I'd be liking the "no bowl" cat feeders or what's it called. Sounds enriching.

  18. We LOVE these bowls and WOWZA that mat is PAWSOME! While I don't have a kitty, my pups are messy eaters and it would be a fun thing to help contain it!

  27. I like the Bella Bowls Metallic Blueberry Cat Dish, it would suit our 2 kittens just fine!

  28. Those are cool bowls! I have to feed my cats in a dome contraption (that I won at BlogPaws) so the dogs can't get in. Their water bowls are elevated in a Neater Feeder (that they share with the dogs). It's a nutty household. Good luck, everybody!

  29. Those fishy mats are great! I have 2 of them and I use them all the time. My favorite of the bowls is the leopard spotted one. :) I am a huge fan of that pattern.
