ecoFLEX Habitat N’ Home Jumbo Litter Loo |
While Mom Paula was attending Global Pet Expo last March, she met the wonderful people at New Age Pet. They make a lot of enclosures for animals for both indoors and outside. She was impressed with the Habitat N' Home™ line of products, especially the ecoFLEX™ Habitat N' Home Litter Loo, which is a fancy litter box that also serves as a piece of furniture. The ecoFLEX Habitat N' Home Litter Loo and Jumbo Litter Loo are made of a blend of recycled polymers and wood by-products known as ecoFLEX.

What is ecoFLEX™? ecoFLEX is made through a process of reducing clean, recycled polymers and reclaimed wood by-products from the manufacture of hardwood furniture frames into a flour-like consistency. This material is mixed with UV inhibitors and color blending compounds and granulated into a form that is used to mold the parts that are used to make the various ecoFLEX-based products. The recycled polymers are imported from the United States and Western Europe where prior use can be verified or they come from the ecoFlex factory's post industrial scrap. The wood is predominantly Poplar, which is a hardwood.

The ecoFLEX Habitat N' Home Litter Loo is available in two sizes as seen in the photo above. The Jumbo Litter Loo is approximately 6-7 inches taller and 6-8 inches wider than the Litter Loo. Both products are made from ecoFLEX which keeps moisture from absorbing into the wood if your cat misses the litter box. All you need to do if this happens is to wipe the moisture away. Both products double as a functional end table and can be used as an enclosed pet house (Truffle and Brulee loved resting inside the Jumbo Litter Loo prior to placing the litter box inside). The materials of the Litter Loo help make it resistant to moisture, warping, cracking, and splitting. The Litter Loo features a fold down front door (easy for cleaning) and two side vents on each side for proper ventilation (also allows light inside). There are no tools required to put the Litter Loo together and it took about 30-45 minutes for Mom Paula to get it set up. The Jumbo Litter Loo accommodates most self-cleaning litter boxes and includes a cord protector in the back to hide the cords. There is a limited manufacturer's 10-year warranty.

Truffle exits the Jumbo Litter Loo |
The Litter Loo is available in three colors: espresso, russet, and antique white. The smaller Litter Loo will hold a standard litter box and the Jumbo Litter Loo can hold some of the self-cleaning litter boxes. Mom Paula put a high-back, large litter pan inside the Jumbo Litter Loo and there is plenty of room on both sides. She'll probably purchase a jumbo litter pan in the future. Even though the product advertises it doesn't soak into the floor, we'll probably add a small mat under the litter box to catch loose litter. To find retailers near you who sell the New Age Pet products, you can visit the webpage for a list.

Inside of the Jumbo Litter Loo |
We currently have the Jumbo Litter Loo in the middle of our living room until Mom Paula finishes cleaning out her home office. The Jumbo Litter Loo is a large piece of furniture, so you'd need to measure to find the the perfect location in your home. As you can see from the video below, Truffle has plenty of privacy to use the facilities and it's easy for her to exit the box. The front door attaches by two magnets at the top. If you have a kitty that is hesitant entering the smaller entrance or who needs a more open litter box, you could leave the door open or not put it on when assembling.
We also received the Scoopy the Cat™ Litter Scoop Holder. This litter scoop holder is in the shape of a Siamese cat and comes in black and white. If you're like us, we tend to put our litter scoops on top of the litter box, which is not very attractive. The Scoopy the Cat litter scoop holder includes a high quality scoop. It's made of plastic and is washable. There is a one-year warranty that covers workmanship and material quality.
We're extremely happy and impressed with our Jumbo Litter Loo and highly recommend this for the felines in your life.

My cat likes a high litter box! We have a kitten size one out for a foster kitten and she has been kicking it everywhere!!!! She is being so goofy!
ReplyDeleteThat looks really nice! Maybe we could have an upstairs litter box if we had this.
ReplyDeleteMy cats like sny litter box thst is off to itself and clean! They would love this one!

ReplyDeleteWhat a pawsome litter box! Though we're not fond of enclosed boxes. This one does look pretty big inside.
ReplyDeleteI love it can accommodate self-cleaning litter boxes.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a super box. We wish we had room for it.

Oh how we would love to win this, but, as Mom Paula knows, our condo is pretty small and we have no to place to put it. :(
ReplyDeleteOh what a wonderful box!
ReplyDeleteThat is a nice box, we would use it as a condo :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful box this sure would be helpful keeping the dogs trying to get into the litter box.
ReplyDeletei absolutely love this box. so nice and presentable in your house. i dont have cats, but would love to donate this to safe haven cat shelter and clinic for their pet food bank which provides things to people that cant afford things for the pets so they do not have to give them up. i would prefer a little box that the cats cant trail things along the outside of the box, and uses a system where there are no smells if cleaned on a regular basis. i think i would prefer the self cleaning boxes.
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful box ! We like that it's big enough to feel good while... you know... Good luck to our US friends for that pawsome giveaway ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful litter box! My cats prefer a litter box with high sides and somewhere private. I think they'd love this!
ReplyDeleteThis is a really cool litter cover! It is so cute! I love that is made from recycled materials too. My cats haven't really shown a preference for covered or uncovered litter boxes. I have been thinking about going back to a covered litter box because Dexter follows Manna to the litter box all of the time.

My kitties like a low side box, even though it makes a bigger mess....
ReplyDeleteOh MeoW Dat's pawsum. And would it ever come in handsy 'round here. Ya' know dat Raena seems to wanna share everythin' at da same time includin' da pawdee box. OMC This would give me a little purrivacy fur sure.
ReplyDeleteLuv ya'

Wow, what awesome products! Our cat Sam has issues with using the box correctly. She often goes over the sides (and we have a high sided one!)....so it's an ongoing issue around here. This might really solve our problems!

My kitty isn't picky and I am so lucky when it comes to litter boxes!
ReplyDeleteI have something quite similar that I keep in the bathroom that I share with Cody. I keep my styling products on top. The door on mine has a tiny little handle. Ours is still in really good shape so i am not entering but I wish those who enter good luck!! If I didn't already have one that was so similar I would enter. catchatwithcarenandcody
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice way to tuck your litter box away if you like enclosed boxes!
ReplyDeleteMy cats currently use standard covered litter boxes, so they are used to being enclosed, but I think they would prefer something that would give them a bit more room and light. This would be perfect for them. As we just added a tiny feral kitten, we're back up to three cats so a litter box like this would be perfect.
ReplyDeleteMy cats are currently using a small wide open litter box, they don't seem to use the covered one very often. I also have a large tall side litter box that they like to use.
ReplyDeleteThat is really awesome! I haven't seen any of those enclosures that are very large like this one!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great box! My cats love a covered litter box.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a well designed, beautiful cat box enclosure. Thank you for sharing about it.
ReplyDeleteWow, this is so cool! Our cats use an enclosed box like this in my husband's office. But in the past, they've also used one right out there in the open! :-)

ReplyDeletesorry! this was me :( I goofed and it posted as unknown, so I deleted and tried again --- sorry about that
Deleteour cat seems to like open/enclosed equally - his preference is more for size and depth so we have a large, high box for him
ReplyDeleteOur cats currently have two small, uncovered boxes in a bathroom closet; but I'm sure an additional box is needed as they grow.
ReplyDeleteWe use large litter boxes. They aren't huge kitties but seem to need extra space.
ReplyDeleteI don't think these will fit into our condo. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteThere looks like a lot of room in this box! Callie the Cat has a large litter box and it would fit perfect in here!!! :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a really nice litter box! We have bigger litter boxes, so we would probably have to get the Jumbo size Litter Loo if we were lucky enough to win. :)
ReplyDeleteHugs!
That's a really nice litter box. Mom would love to get one of these for the in the dinning room. That way we could have an extra litter box. Thanks for the goveaway.
ReplyDeleteIt would have to be a covered one.. Also I think I like that one the best:)
ReplyDeleteI have 3 cats and sure would love to have this! Thank you for offering this giveaway. Fingers and paws crossed
ReplyDeleteThis is fantastic! We could really use this.
