Brulee and Truffle liked the puree so much, I couldn't get a clear photo of them eating it. |

Mom Paula attended Global Pet Expo this past Spring and heard about this exciting and new cat treat for cats. Of course, she had to visit the booth to hear what all the commotion was about. Ciao is one of the best selling brands of premium wet food and treats for cats in Japan and is now available in the United States. Ciao is manufactured by a company who has been in business since 1834 and began launching pet brands in 1989. The Ciao treats are prepared exclusively with human-quality ingredients are are grain-free and preservative-free. Each treat contains green tea extract for antioxidant benefits. The deep ocean tuna used in the treats is sustainably harvested and certified dolphin-safe. The cage-free chicken is naturally raised on closely supervised farms. Ciao treats come in two different forms that should satisfy even the finickiest of cats.

The first form is the Ciao Churu™, which is a puree that you squeeze from a tub for us to lick like a popsicle. Churu purees are made with chicken or ocean-caught tuna as the first ingredient. The consistency is similar to yogurt or baby food, which would be great for kitties with tender mouths or as a topper for food to entice us to eat our food. As soon as Mom Paula opened the tube (in fact, before it was fully opened), we immediately began licking the delicious puree. Truffle couldn't get enough of the delicious puree and began biting the tube to get to it. Mom Paula may consider serving this on a plate next time or on top of our food. The Cio Churu purees come in five flavors: tuna, tuna with chicken, chicken, tuna with scallop, and chicken with scallop.

Truffle and Brulee think the Churu purees are delicious. Can you see the bite marks on the tube? |

Mom Paula was able to get a video of Truffle eating the Grilled Chicken Fillet in Chicken Flavored Broth. Truffle loved the taste so much that she literally sat up and begged for more.

DeleteOur Arata would probably like the Grilled Chicken Fillet in Chicken Flavored Broth. I think my Moko would like the tuna with chicken flavor of the Ciao Churu treats. Our newest furbaby, Kotoha, is only about five weeks old and only just starting on solid food - I'm guessing when she's ready, she'd like them all. (The dogs would be so jealous, but they get plenty of their own treats, too!)
ReplyDeleteGrilled Chicken Filet would be the favorite.
ReplyDeleteI think my cats would love the chicken.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are just the cutest! These treats look so yummy.
ReplyDeleteThis is great! Because Bear has a proclivity to dental issues, he's lost several teeth and I like to give him treats that he doesn't have to work so hard to enjoy.
ReplyDeleteThose really DO look and sound very yummy!! Your kitties were so lucky to get to be the taste testers for you!!
ReplyDeleteWow, those do sound tasty! We're pretty sure our cats would love them!
ReplyDeleteIt's adorable that she sits pretty to get the treat!
ReplyDeleteThe puree sounds like it would be perfect for my older girl, Elsie! I am definitely going to enter. Though my husband is deathly allergic to scallops so would probably have to avoid that flavor even though I am sure Elsie would love it.
ReplyDeleteWow sure looks like the girls love the treats and they sound fantastic. What brilliant photos- love the tongue and bite marks and sit pretty lol. Nala would have gone crazy for them too I am sure

Dogs Luv Us and We Luv Them
These sound really tasty! My cats love anything chicken flavored. Of course, at this point, Dexter is a bottomless pit, so he would probably like all of these flavors!
ReplyDelete-Purrs from your friends at www.PlayfulKitty.net
I thought the treats were shaped like white "chicklets" gum (from way back in the day) based on your first photo, until I saw puree on the label. :) Your cats definitely seem to like both varieties; bet mine would too!
ReplyDeleteLove the pics of your kitties enjoying their new treats :) I think my cats favorite would be the Churu Tuna with Scallop Recipe.
ReplyDeleteLooks like they both really enjoyed the treats! If I ever get a kitty, I will have to try these out!
ReplyDeleteChicken, chicken and more chicken! Even though I seem to have a bit of a sensitivity to it, it is ok if I just eat a little at a time like in treats. Mom says she's surprised mom Paula DIDN'T taste these!
ReplyDeleteYour cats are so cute. These look good and that they are good for the kitties, too!
