World Cat Day
World Cat Day (aka International Cat Day) was created by the International Fund for Animal Welfare in 2002 to increase the public's awareness for the needs of cats. We kitties know that every day is our day, but we like that there is a special day world-wide to increase the public awareness that we are special. For today's photos, we thought we'd share some pictures of us pre-grooming (we have bed fur) to show that we are still beautiful. Our wish on this unique day is that all humans would realize that cats are important to the well-being of humans and have a special place on this earth.

You're so right, in their eyes, and their owners...EVERY day is world cat day. That being said, it's always nice to have a reason to share awareness of the beauty of cats and why owning one with special needs will help the human as much as it will the kitty companion!
