| Brulee and Truffle |
Special Purrs Needed:
Brulee was rushed to the vet this morning with a high fever and difficulty breathing. Her temperature was 104.9. The vet is giving her IV fluids today and monitoring her fever. It's going to cost a fortune, which I don't have right now, but I have to make sure my baby girl is okay. I'll keep you updated as I hear from the vet.
Update
Just heard from the vet. Brulee's temperature has dropped from 104.9 to 103.9. The x-rays showed nothing to be concerned about. The blood work showed everything is normal. The vet thinks she has an URI. She'll be treated with antibiotics (Truffle, too) and we're going to start Brulee and Truffle on L-Lysine (Truffle's eyes are running again). She hasn't eaten yet, but I'm going to pick her up in a couple of hours.
