Do you see what I see? |
Both of the girls have a new ritual each might that spooks Mom Paula. They will go beside a small space beside Mom Paula's chair and just stare at her. The girls just started doing this when the Hurricane hit South Carolina in October. The space is only about a square foot, but both will go there and just sit and stare at Mom Paula. We should also mention that this space is very near the secretary desk that hold both Praline and Beignet's ashes.
Maybe Praline and Beignet are making sure you all are OK. WE know Wizard comes by every now and then, in times of stress, to check on Mom.
ReplyDeleteWow! I think Truffle and Brulee know something that you don't!
ReplyDeleteHmm... I wonder what the girls are seeing and what the message is?
ReplyDeleteWe think Truffle and Brulee know and see something that only cats can see ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteYou may need to seek professional help & have the house exorcised ;)
ReplyDeleteI think Angel & Kirby have it. After the Hurricane, your 2 Angels came back to make sure things were ok - to watch over all of you.
ReplyDeleteWe think your Angels are there watching over you. You can't see them but Truffle and Brulee can.
ReplyDeleteThe Florida Furkids
Well now we're a little spooked out!
ReplyDeleteThat would spook us out too! We are always catching our kitty doing things that make us go, hmmm?! lol
ReplyDeleteIf Mr. N is intensely looking at something, it's because there's rodents under there!
ReplyDeleteIs it a heavily armed mouse army? LOL
ReplyDeleteAmazing what our fur babies see that we don't. Years ago my cat kept going to the vent and staring down in it and laying near it for hours on end. Come to find out there were kittens under the house that the Momma cat had in the insulation. We rescued, bottle fed them and found homes for them when they were old enough. The momma cat never returned. I often wonder what happened to her.
ReplyDeleteCharlie does this all the time... it freaks me out too!
ReplyDeleteLayla just sit and stares into space sometimes, vet said not to worry cos I would be the one to ask if there was something wrong, its spooky though
ReplyDeleteThis picture is adorable. Our kitty Moo Shu does this sometimes, too. Her eyes get huge and she just stares at something only she can see.
ReplyDeleteIsn't that odd. Have you asked them, or whoever might be with them, if you can help in any way (so that this odd presence can move on?)
ReplyDeleteSometimes critters are more in tune with things we can't see or hear. Maybe contact an animal communicator who might be able to share what's going on.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea. I've worked with an animal communicator in the past and hadn't thought about it again. I wish I had the extra money to contact someone right now.
DeleteDexter The Dog is going crazy over our vents. We have scared off an opossum but he's still interested. The nose Knows.....
ReplyDeleteMy mom's cat used to seem very spooked around 8:30 in the evening and race upstairs. Then she would look down into the living room. I found it very unnerving.
ReplyDeleteCats can be so weird sometimes! My cats just sit and stare at "nothing" occasionally too. In my home, the cats like to just stare down the hallway. It is creepy sometimes! I hope that your kitties are just daydreaming and not foreseeing anything yucky!
ReplyDelete-Purrs from your friends at www.PlayfulKitty.net
Oh my goodness, how adorable. Just last night, Matilda stared at a wall and started growling, and then Cow joined her, staring, growling, moofing and boofing. Animals are so weird. I think I'll burn some sage, just in case.
ReplyDeleteThat photo is great! Really captures the feeling! My one Husky does this and I'm always saying, "What do you see?!" I do believe they sense things...and sometimes may see things we don't. Okay, I have chills now..!
ReplyDeleteA little spooky. I wonder what they see? In Kilo's case, he would just be looking for treats or invaders/threats of some kind.
ReplyDeleteThose eyes though...oh wow! Super creepy if there is a visitor that you can't see, but the kitties can!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! Love the color of that faucet, too. I agree, cats staring at you for no apparent reason is a little concerning. :)
ReplyDeleteWow, that is so weird! The storm may have stirred up something. Maybe the ghosts of Christmas past making a visit? Keep us posted!
ReplyDeleteLove & biscuits,
Dogs Luv Us and We Luv Them
i wonder what the cats could see.. reading between the signs of maybe they are trying to get a message across from the ones that have left
