Truffle wishes she didn't have the Persian face so she could get into the Weruva treat cannister |
We've reviewed Weruva cat food and litter in the past and are definitely fans! Imagine our surprise when we realized Weruva had freeze-dried chicken treats! We received a can of the Weruva Paw Lickin' Chicken Freeze-Dried Dog & Cat Treats from Chewy.com as part of the Chewy Influencer Program. These treats have one ingredient: boneless, white chicken breast! We've eaten other brands of freeze-dried chicken and it's always been a favorite of ours. Mom Paula couldn't even get the top off of the cannister before Truffle was trying to press her Persian face into it to get the treats.

Brulee waiting for her Weruva Paw Lickin' Chicken treat |
Since these treats only contain chicken, they are suitable for both cats and dogs. The treats are a protein-rich single ingredient that would be appropriate for cats and dogs on limited diets. There are no grains or gluten in the treats. The treats come in a container for easy storage and to keep mischievous kitties out of them. These treats were a hit with Truffle and Brulee. As you can see in the video below, the girls couldn't get enough of them. Truffle kept rubbing back and forth on the treat can and would have eaten the entire container if it were left unattended for long. Mom Paula likes the fact that the treats are small in size which is great for greedy kitties like Truffle and Brulee. It's important to keep fresh and clean drinking water available when feeding freeze-dried treats to cats. The Weruva freeze dried treats are also available in Blue Water Whitefish for those kitties (and dogs) who prefer fish.
The Weruva freeze-dried treats are available at Chewy.com at the low price of $8.99. If you purchase other items (food, litter, and toys) that total $49+, you can receive free 2-day shipping. We are very impressed with the products available, the prices, the shipping, and the customer service at Chewy.com.
Looks delishus!
ReplyDeleteOH how lovely to see the girls on video - what a delight you all are. Well done you three. As for Weruva??? 1,000,000% tasty and totally brilliant. I would order them tomorrow I lived in the USA!!!!!

ReplyDeletewow SOMEONE is enthused about that chicken! We must try some...
ReplyDeleteThese are some of our favorite treats!
ReplyDeleteTruffle is adorable, rubbing on the can! lol I bet our cat would love these, Weruva is a great company!
ReplyDeleteYou're cats are simply adorable and beautiful! They seem to be enjoying these treats. I love how Brulee uses a paw to put the treat in her mouth :)
ReplyDeleteI love Chewy.com and love that those treats are 100% meat. That's the way to go for pet treats. Yum
ReplyDeleteThey sound great! Glad that both Truffle and Brulee like them!
ReplyDeleteThey sound delicious! And oh WOW, you really do love them!
ReplyDeleteThose are some of our favorites. Except Chey...she only eats fishy flakes!
ReplyDeleteYou know, I never really thought about how certain treats can be given to both cats and dogs, even if they're labeled specifically for one or the other. Thanks for that reminder. These treats (or the fish option) would be great for training since they're small, high value, and easy to carry.
ReplyDeleteLooks like they were a hit with the kitties! I loved watching the video, thanks for including it. It helps to fill my cat fix needs...
we love these too
ReplyDeleteI give Jack (my dog) freeze dried chicken treats and he loves them. If he gets a hold of the treat pouch, forget it...they're gone.
ReplyDeleteLayla loves chicken but I give it to her in moderation because of her allergies
ReplyDeleteDid someone say treats? purrs
ReplyDeleteThat looks very yummy! Truffle and Brulee are such beautiful models!
ReplyDeleteGreat review and video.
ReplyDeleteWe have freeze-dried treats for our dog, but never thought of using them for our cats. I bet they'd gobble them up!
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of this brand before. One ingredient is almost unheard of. Truffle really seemed to like them.
ReplyDeleteWOW, they sure do look gorgeous as always. And yes, they love their chicken yummies, too. Smooches to them. Hope your eye is coming along.
ReplyDeleteWe make our own food. We made some chicken strips a few weeks ago. Big hit! Getting a dehydrator was such a good idea! :) yep ... chicken is a favourite.
ReplyDeleteWe absolutely love the Weruva fish (and now we'll try the chicken) - thanks for this! One ingredient is so simple, easy to understand what you are giving your animal, and definitely good value!
ReplyDeleteMr. N is allergic to chicken but he's had their fish varieties which he likes. They're small too so he can have a couple extra!
ReplyDeleteOnly some freeze dried treats have been successful with my pets - especially cats. I haven't tried this brand though.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a great treat, that all my pets would love.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute video, Truffle is so funny rubbing against the can LOL! Good point about being sure to have water with freeze dried treats, they don't have the moisture content. I like that these treats have just chicken in them, it sounds like a very healthy option
ReplyDeleteLove & Biscuits,
Dogs Luv Us and We Luv them
We often use cat treats for the dogs - Rooster doesn't mind sharing. I like the smaller pieces so the dogs don't gain weight when we do a fair amount of training. I also like simple ingredients!
ReplyDeleteOmg these look great
ReplyDeleteHaha.... adorable photo. If Truffle could get her head inside that treats barrel she surely would!
ReplyDeleteIt's funny, but every time Mom Peggy sees freeze-dried chicken treats in the store, she automatically thinks of you girls!
