Time Spent with Cats

Mom Paula always says she can feel her blood pressure dropping when she walks in the door and sees us.  She says she is even more relaxes when one of us turns and gives her that look that makes her melt.  Last night, during a photo shoot, Truffle laid on her side and turned her head upside down to look at Mom Paula.  At that point in time, Truffle could get anything she wanted.  Do you get special looks from your fur child?

  1. I give my human special looks... when she is holding treats!

  2. We give mum special looks too. We often roll on the floor and she cannot resist giving us belly rubs :)

  4. Aw, Truffles, you are too precious! All of the furbabies around here have moments when they make this mom of theirs melt with a simple look, but I must say that little Thimble takes the cake. She is the queen of baby face expressions and belly rolls and looking at her mom just right so that she gets whatever she wants.

  5. Truffle, you sure know how to work that camera!

  6. We can see the look of love. Kirby has soulful eyes. Mom sometimes thinks he looks depressed so she gives him extra love!

  7. I love that quote. Such a cutie Truffle :)

  8. How could she not eh? No matter how stressful the pressure, coming home to you two will always be the prfect end to a day.

  9. Aww, I feel the same way. Every night when I go to bed, my girl Jasmine climbs up on my chest for love and snuggles. Any other time of the day, she's super independent and a bit aloof, but at night she's the biggest cuddle bug, and it makes my heart happy.

  10. Nutter shuts his eyes, purrs and drools with delight. It's sort of gross, but I love it!

  11. We agree - time spent with any animal is never wasted!

  12. This is so cute! I know I'm exactly the same way, as soon as Kilo gives me "the look" I'm completely helpless to resist his charms!

  13. I try to not be jealous of the cat but I am. At least when he's in her lap I'm snoozing somewhere else so I don't notice, but I know how much she loves having a cat in her lap again, purring and kneading away. Love Dolly

  14. Truffle is precious! Our cats come to sniff and kiss me when I walk in the door. This alone melts me, let alone all the other special looks and acts they do throughout the rest of the day. ;-)

  15. It breaks my heart to see how many people get pets only to never spend any time with them.

  16. Yes. Mr. N likes to stick his tongue out and do puppy eyes.

  17. What an adorable pose! I can see why you feel so happy around your cats.

  18. I love this camera angle, she looks so sweet in the photo! Phoebe makes me melt when she does her famous Head Tilt. I am putty in her hands!

  19. When I had cats I used to love coming home to them and all of us cuddling on the bed, playing, purring and just having fun. I miss those special times but Layla does make up for it

  20. Every time you post, it makes me miss having a cat again.
That face is simply adorable. How do you get anything done?

    1. It's difficult, especially when Truffle thinks it's time for me to pay attention to her.

  21. Oh, Truffle had me at first glance! Beautiful pic and yes, I so agree, just seeing my furry (Huskies & adopted feral kitty) faces makes me smile, no matter what mood I'm in! When they get all wiggly to see me, it just fills my heart. Great post!
