Black Cat Appreciation Day

We stepping aside today to celebrate Black Cat Appreciation Day. Did you know that black cats (and dogs) are usually passed over in shelters and are not adopted or worse?  We think black cats are beautiful and wish people didn't think they are bad luck because of some stupid superstition!

Mr Jones wants you to know he's beautiful

We're sharing some photos of Aunt Dorenda's cat, Mr. Jones. Mr. Jones was found as a kitten by Mom Paula's nephew and now lives the happy life on their 31-acre farm.  Mom Paula was a little worried about him 2 years ago because he wasn't looking as healthy and was a little "hissy" if you know what we mean.  A little over a year ago, they purchased a 31-acre farm and once Mr. Jones was comfortable in his new surroundings, he's blossomed back into the beautiful, healthy, and happy cat we love.

We know a lot of beautiful house panthers through the Cat Blogging World and wish them the happiest of days.  Our wish is the more people would realize the beauty of these cats and consider adoption when bringing a fur feline into their homes.
