Truffle with one of the new products from KRUUSE |
We've shared some pet products from KRUUSE in the past and were happy to receive some new products Mom Paula saw at Global Pet Expo this year for review. We love the variety of products through BUSTER® and Catrine™ that help make our lives a little better.
BUSTER® Undercoat Rake

Truffle demonstrates the amount of fur the BUSTER Undercoat Rake removed the first time. |
The BUSTER® Undercoat Rake removes loose undercoat hair without damaging the top coat, which is so important with Persians and other dogs and cats with a soft and silky fur. It helps remove dirt, shedding hair, mats and tangles with just a few swipes with the rake. Regular combing helps stimulate the coat´s natural oils for a healthy and shiny coat. The Undercoat Rake is designed for long/thick/double coats. The Undercoat Rake is available in small and large with three different style of pins and is appropriate for both cats and dogs. Mom Paula liked it because of the ergonomic and comfortable handle and the fact the pins of the rake didn't hurt us. The Undercoat Rake is definitely a new tool in our grooming kit.
Catrine™ Catmosphere Treat Ball

Brulee guarding her new favorite toy - The Catrine™ Catmosphere Treat Ball |
Everyone knows we love treats and research says cats need to satisfy their natural instincts of hunting. The Catrine™ Catmosphere Treat Ball stimulates a cat's curiosity with the unique treat dispenser. This dispenser has an unpredictible roll that engages your cat to chase it. Just fill the treat ball with her favorite treats and watch her hunt, play, and eat. The physical stimulation involved in the chase makes this dispenser suitable in controlling the diet and treatment of feline obesity. This toy is also suitable for puppies.
It took approximately 10-15 minutes for Brulee to figure out the Catmosphere Treat Ball. Mom Paula began by rolling it and allowing some treats to come out. Both Brulee and Truffle were interested in the treats, but once they were gone, Truffle ignored it. Brulee was very intrigued and eventually figured out how to use it. This short video is an abridged version showing Brulee's discovery. Mom Paula heard the treat ball rolling around all night long once Brulee figured it out. This toy is great for keeping Brulee active and entertained and Mom Paula loved watching Brulee discover something new.

BUSTER® Tablet Introducer

Luckily, we didn't have a need to actually use the BUSTER® Tablet Introducer because we don't currently have any medications we need to take. Mom Paula wishes she had this syringe when Brulee was sick this past Fall and was very difficult to pill. The Tablet Introducer has a soft rubber tip which helps make it easier to administer a pill to your cat without causing damage to the mouth. The new pill syringe has added finger bars, a transparent barrel of the right length, and a reinforced tablet holder and piston with rubber plunger to help make pilling a cat (or dog) a little easier. Mom Paula likes the way it feels in her hand and hopes this will help pill our difficult little Brulee in the future to help keep her healthy. We hope this isn't anytime soon.

My cats would disagree with me (they'd prefer the toys), but I think the BUSTER® Tablet Introducer would be the item I'd like the best and would get the most use out of. My senior cat, Moko, is on daily medication (she gets 1/2 of a small pill twice a day for hyperthyroidism). Even though the pill is so small, Moko still gives me issues taking it. I did try a transdermal version of the medication, but Moko was seriously allergic to something in the gel so we're back to the pill. You'd think 1/2 of a small pill wouldn't be an issue, but Moko makes sue to make a fuss. I have been thinking of trying something like this for her.
ReplyDeletethe brush i have 3 big shedders here!
ReplyDeleteBrulee, ignore my human LOLing at your attempts to get the treats out - I think you did an awesome job! I'd love to have one of those for Binga, to see how long it took HER to figure it out. The rake would be perfect for Boodie.
ReplyDeleteI think someone sent Ichiro something similar to that. He never did figure it out...
ReplyDeleteI always love watching your kitties do their thing!!!!! Good luck to everyone that enters!!!!! A kitty prize pack to be proud of!
ReplyDeleteThat Catmosphere is really cool, I love interactive toys. Brulee is so cute! It must have been funny to hear her playing with it in the middle of the night, LOL!
ReplyDeleteLove & Biscuits,
Dogs Luv Us and We Luv Them
We could use the treat ball the most because Marceline loves to work for her nibbles.
ReplyDeleteThat Catmosphere treat ball looks so cool! My dogs love puzzle toys but I've never tried one for Jasmine. Wonder if she'd like it?
ReplyDeleteThat treat ball looks like fun!
ReplyDeleteThe treat ball is really cool ! Good luck to our US friends for that pawsome giveaway ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteHow a lovely giveaway! I am glad Truffle liked the ball.
ReplyDeleteOur mom thinks the pill introducer is the best invention ever! It was a lot easier for her to give me medication with that thing.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a great giveaway. The rake would be perfect for my Pomeranian mix, Sophie!
ReplyDeleteThese sound like great products! I especially like the Tablet Introducer! Thankfully I don't have to pill the kitties regularly, but whenever they do have medicine to take, this would come in handy! The brush would be good for Caster and Kylo Ren too - they have such think and long fur!
ReplyDeleteWe love KRUUSE and Buster too and haven't seen their great cat products before! Glad you haven't had to use the tablet thing, mom could've used that before too. Cool stuff! Love Dolly
ReplyDeleteWow all of these are great. Lisbeth loves these types of treat toys, and Giulietta could sure use the rake. We sure wish we'd had that pill delivery system when Fiona was with us. We know we'd put all of these togged use. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy
ReplyDeleteThe pill thingy looks very inneresting. TW wishes she would have had it when she had to medicate Chizzy. No matter how far she put it into his mouth, she'd find it on the chair the next day. We're entering just to get that.
ReplyDeleteI could really use the rake brush on my cats the most. That looks like a very nice tool to get all of those loose hairs.
ReplyDeleteThey all look like great products. The treat ball would be great for some of my piggies, I mean kitties :)

ReplyDeleteOut of the three items, I would use the brush rake the most because My cats shed a lot of fur around the house. My cats would like the ball because treats are inside! Haha
ReplyDeleteSadie would love the catmosphere treat ball! By now I've learned that my dog has the work ethic of a cat - she's too lazy to use dog treat dispensing toys, but she loves the ones made for cats!
ReplyDeleteManna and Dexter would love the treat ball! They are big fans of toys with treats inside. I can see the other 2 items coming in handy too. My kitties shed quite a lot and occasionally Dexter needs pills because of a stubborn respiratory infection that keeps coming back. Thank you for the giveaway! I love your adorable photos. :)

That treat ball looks great--I think that's what our cats would like the best because they're all about anything with treats in it. Brulee, it was fun watching you figure out how to use the ball. You are very determined! :)
ReplyDeleteWe would probably use the undercoat rake the most. Brulee, we knew you would eventually figure out that treat ball! Minchie is the treat ball expert here.
ReplyDeletei dont have any cats but i do like the treat ball and the pill dispenser. the pill dispenser is great b/c that would save your fingers and make sure the pill was swallowed.
ReplyDeleteI would use the BUSTER® Undercoat Rake the most. I have a lot of fluffy cats and dogs that need regular brushing and could really use this :)
ReplyDeleteI'd love the tablet introducer - my cat Peanut Butter, who weighs 7 pounds, has the strength of a body builder when I'm trying to get her to take any kind of pill. Peanut Butter would love the Catmosphere treat ball and I would love to see her getting a bit of a workout from it!
ReplyDeleteI could use ALL of the products. I have a Himalayan and a Gray Persian who both need to be brushed daily. I'd love the BUSTER® Undercoat Rake. My cat Trinny is obsessed with treats and we do have treat toys, but that Catrine Treat Ball is unique. She'd love it! Gracie May is a little stubborn, so it's almost impossible to give her pills. I'd like to try the Buster Tablet device. Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteI'd use the Catmosphere Treat Ball most, because I need something to stimulate my senior cats. This toy with treats would get their attention.
ReplyDeleteMy pets would appreciate the ball the most, but truthfully, my cat would benefit from the rake. He's a senior and he's very good at grooming himself.
