Caturday Art

Today didn't start out like a normal Saturday. Mom Paula woke up earlier than usual and surprised both of us by putting us in our Sleepypod® Mobile Pet Bed and off to the vet we went.
Brulee on the scales at the vet's office - Feather Art using LunaPic

We think Brulee is going to be okay. She had been a little nauseated this week and was not eating as much (even her treats). Mom Paula decided it was time to get her to the vet to make sure nothing was wrong. Brulee checked out okay, except for some weight loss. The vet said it could be related to changes in the environment or stress (Mom Paula has been a little stressed lately) and he recommended giving her something for the nausea. Brulee didn't like that shot (it burned) and she even growled at Mom Paula when she put her back in her Sleepypod®. If Brulee doesn't get better, the vet wants to do more blood work, but he thinks she'll be okay. Mom Paula is just a worry-wort when it comes to us.

  1. It's better to get them checked early, cats always hide when they don't feel good. Sending good thoughts, I hope everyone feels better soon.

  6. Oh dear Brûlée, I sorry you had to go to the V-E-T & get a stick in the posterior. But I cross my paws that it helps make you feel better. I had tummy nassau a few months ago so V-E-T put me on medicine drops for a week. Environmental changes gets my system a little off balance, too. Kisses & cheek nuzzles. -Valentine (& Mom) of Noir Kitty Mews
