National Love Your Pet Day is an unofficial holiday that is celebrated each year on February 20. The purpose of this special day is to encourage pet owners to spend some quality time with their pets to give them the love and attention they deserve. We hope pet owners treat their pets the same every day and not just on this day. Pets can provide so much comfort and health benefits for the humans who own them. We hope every fur child out there gets the love and attention you want and deserve today.
With the help from our friends at Chewy.com, Mom Paula was able to provide us with a special gift today to help celebrate. We've enjoyed our PetFusion™ Ultimate Cat Lounge (reviewed in December) that Mom Paula wanted to get us a similar scratcher lounger for the guest room. The PetFusion Jumbo Cat Scratcher Lounge is a much larger scratcher than the Ultimate with a slightly different design.

The Jumbo Scratcher Lounge measures 11" x 39" x 14.3" and is available in white. This scratcher lounge has a larger opening, so both of us can scratch and rest at the same time. This scratcher lounge was so popular that before Mom Paula could even remove it from the box, the girls were climbing on it. This scratcher is made of durable construction and dense cardboard that lasts longer than some other scratchers. The scratcher is stylish and can flow with any home decor. There is no assembly required and all materials are tested using international safety standards. This scratcher lounge lasts longer than some cardboard scratchers because of its size and the fact that it's reversible. It's made of eco-friendly, recycled and recyclable corrugated cardboard that's held together with non-toxic corn starch glue. There is a bag of premium USA catnip leaf included to help train your cat to use the scratcher. We didn't need it because we claimed the scratcher immediately.

This scratcher lounge is perfect for larger cats or multi-cat households. Brulee immediately claimed the top of the scratcher lounge while Truffle climbed inside. Every time Mom Paula has walked past the bedroom, one, or both, of the girls is lounging on top of it as the sunshine comes through the front bedroom window. Mom Paula has also found it easier to remove our fur from the cardboard scratchers compared to carpet or sisal. This scratcher lounge is definitely a keeper, as was the Ultimate Scratcher Lounge.

ReplyDeleteWe have three dogs and three cats. I was pouring rain all day, so the dogs were indoors except to potty. We had some extra play time today - especially my newest pup, Megumi (she is just one year old and very energetic). For the cats, it was wand toys and the laser light for the two younger ones - Arata and Kotoha. For my old girl, Moko, it was extra treats and some extra special cuddle time!

ReplyDeleteIt looks just perfect for two cats! I think having it next the bed is a great idea especially when they are older. My 17 year old cat can still jump on the sofa, but most our beds are too high for him. My dogs got extra treats and a vet visit.
