Update - The news isn't good. Truffle needs surgery because she has stones in her bladder and one looks pretty large. Surgery is scheduled for Wednesday.

Truffle and Brulee earn my respect every day

We truly believe that all animals deserve respect because of the benefits they bring us on a daily basis through entertainment, education, and amazement. We know many friends who are owned by dogs, cats, horses, birds, etc., and they are comforted each day with their love, antics, and connections.

Going to the Vet - Truffle

We believe in going to the vet for our regular checkups, but there are also times for those unexpected trips. Today was one of those days.

It was time for Brulee's biannual checkup, but Mom Paula was waiting until she returned from Global Pet Expo before taking her.

We weren't expecting to take a trip today, but we ended up in the car and going to the vet. We'll share more of the story tomorrow.

Feline Fine

The pet sitter is reporting (with photos) that we are feeling fine and not hiding from her. Mom Paula didn't receive any photos on Wednesday, but that's because her phone died! DJ said we were playful and played with one of our feather wand toys!

Thankful Thursday

Truffle and Brulee love their new Peggy Blankies she recently made for them. As soon as Mom Paula put them down on the day bed, the girls claimed them.

First Day with the Pet Sitter

Mom Paula is at Global Pet Expo and this is the first time since BlogPaws that she's been gone for more than one night. Mom Paula received a message from the pet sitter today that said, "I think the pictures say it all! Trying to get them to chase the laser. So far no luck."

Poor Truffle. She wonders where Mom Paula is. At least Truffle was in the front of the house with the pet sitter and not hiding under the bed.

It's not often we see Brulee's tongue out because she's such a lady. But when it comes to these delicious chicken filet treats, Brulee goes a little wild.

Trip?

We're seeing some things around here that we're not so sure we're happy about. The blue suitcase is on the bed and Mom Paula is running around like crazy. She said something about discovering new cat products at Global Pet Expo!
