Brulee and Truffle anxiously await the opening of the Fancy Feast® Chicken Filets |
We love to try out new treats and we admit, we have our favorites. We usually eat freeze-dried treats, but were interested in trying the Fancy Feast® Purely Natural White Meat Chicken Filets available from Chewy.com. These chicken filets are identified as food toppers, but we like them as a special treat!

Would you please hurry up and open this package? |
These treats are made with 100% natural hand-selected chicken that is cooked and pieced to perfection. They are high in protein and low in fat. They come in stay-fresh pouches that make portion control easy and hassle-free. All you need to do is tear open the package and serve. These chicken filets are made with zero by-products or fillers.

Brulee loves her new Fancy Feast chicken filets |
The recommended feeding instructions are one filet per day for an average size adult cat. Mom Paula says we are small adult cats and we eat so little each day that she is limiting us to one filet for both of us. She doesn't dare give a whole treat to Truffle because Truffle will literally inhale treats and has a tendency to choke. She hand fed us small pieces of the chicken and we felt we had lots of treats to eat. It's important to know that these chicken filets are not intended to be fed as a meal.

Truffle is ready to eat her small piece of chicken filet |
These Fancy Feast filet toppers are available in five flavors: chicken, Alaskan Salmon, chicken in tuna broth, ocean fish, and tuna. All of the toppers have the protein as the first ingredient. They are available in a 10-pack and cost $19.99 which is about $1.00 for each filet. We think these filets are well worth the money. If you have a finicky cat (we all have one), these filets can be used as a topper to encourage them to eat. We do recommend you may want to break the filets into smaller pieces.
As you can tell from the video above, these treats were a hit!
Those look delicious... but my human just gives us pieces of her chicken!
ReplyDeleteMom Paula rarely cooks! MOL!
DeleteI was curious about these! I am so glad that both of you love them! I can see how excited you are with those big gorgeous wide eyes! I would do the same and only give one for both of my felines as well. That is plenty as a special treat and that is also how they would be served them. I will have to get some for my babies.
ReplyDeleteThose look tasty!
ReplyDeleteThat does look pretty darn yummy sweet girls!
ReplyDeleteOh yum... need to keep Karma-Kat from seeing this! He's very picky about his food and treats (despite being a jumbo-size man-cat) but this looks like something he'd love.
ReplyDeleteI've seen these before but have yet to try them with my kitties. I bet they would love them! I'll definitely have to add some to my next Chewy order. Love the video!
ReplyDeleteLove seeing pets so excited about their food. :) Looks good enough for my pup!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a good treat and as a vegetarian, I'd have minimum contact so that's a good thing. However, my two girls are on strict diets due to food allergies (poultry being one) so this isn't for them. But I wonder if my dog would notice they are for cats...
ReplyDeleteOohhh... Those sound super nommy. I wonder if they're available here in Canada. Must make a note to get the peep to check that out. purrs
ReplyDeleteThose look good but I make Layla's chicken jerky at home, she lies in front of the oven waiting for it when I do LOL. Love the pics and we all say chicken jerky is like crack for the pets LOL
ReplyDeleteSo glad you like your new treats! Gusto's girlfriend Angel brings over chicken jerky that her daddy makes.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds yummy ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteWe just got some of these to try. We can’t wait!
ReplyDeleteOh, boy, that looks yummy :-) We make most of dog treats ourselves; particularly chicken.
ReplyDeleteGreat review of those delicious looking chicken fillets. Kilo loves chicken. Your blog looks so good, especially the photos and video.
ReplyDeleteYummy! Truffle reminds me of my Precious. She would inhale yummy food so fast. Looks like the Fancy Feast filets are a hit! Before there were so many more pet food options, Fancy Feast was always a hit in our house :)
ReplyDeleteOh my cat! This video was too cute, the look on your girls' faces says it all! Left a comment on YouTube also.
ReplyDeleteYummy! I like breaking up my treats for my dogs as well, it lasts longer and it doesn't cause stomach upset also, even though they are quite a bit bigger than Truffle and Brulee!
ReplyDeleteYou girls are so lucky to get to taste test all those yummy teats from Chewy. This one is a sure winner!
ReplyDeleteTruffle and Brulee, it looks like you really enjoyed your tasty treat! Your video tells the story! Those sweet faces and little tongues...oh my cuteness! That's happiness!
