Truffle securely strapped in the car in her Sleepypod® Mobile Pet Bed |
Truffle was scheduled to go back to her vet today at Cherokee Trail Veterinary Hospital to see Dr. Boyette.
Dr. Boyette wanted to perform a urinalysis to see if the pH levels of her urine were under 6.4 and to check the concentration of the urine. We were disappointed to see that her pH level was higher than 6.4 and her concentration was a little high. Dr. Boyette was a little concerned because it has been over 2 months since her surgery and eating the prescription food. Truffle will go back for another urinalysis in a month.
We'll provide more information about these numbers and her stones this week.
Thank you for your continued purrs and good thoughts.
Darn! I'm sending more healing purrs to Truffle. I really want to see this issue of hers get corrected.
ReplyDeleteDang, we're sure sorry to hear that sweet Truffle. Hopefully they'll figure out what will work soon.
ReplyDeleteThat is disappointing. I hope they can figure out a way to get things under control for Truffle. Sending purrs and healing thoughts! :)
ReplyDeleteWe hope things will get better for Truffle. It may just take a little more time.
ReplyDeleteWell that is a bummer. Hoping you can get things under control soon.
ReplyDeleteOh poop! We're sending lots of purrs to Truffle!
ReplyDeleteOh no ! We keep purring for Truffle. Purrs
ReplyDeleteI'm not usually like this - I usually read instructions ad nauseam and have little sympathy for people who don't ... but THAT'S how you use the seat-belt with the Sleepypod! I just put the lap belt around it and didn't think to try to secure the top. *** embarrassed ***
ReplyDeleteHere's a great video to show you how to connect the Sleepypod to the seatbelt. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k7uvQpjrHEQ&t=150s
DeleteI will keep Truffle in my prayers.
