The real Truffle investigating the Plush Clone Truffle from Cuddle Clones® |
We've already shared our review of this amazing likeness of Truffle and are currently hosting a giveaway where you can receive one of your own. When Mom Paula first opened the box and removed the Plush Truffle, she was astonished at the likeness to Truffle. She placed it on top of the box in the hallway for a short time. Mom Paula found herself beginning to say, "hey sweetie" and then she'd realize it was the Plush Clone and not Truffle.
Last week, Grandma Faye came by the house and sat down on the couch. She looked over at the Plush Clone and began talking to it. Mom Paula began laughing and told her that it was a stuffed animal and not Truffle. Mom Paula had to pick it up and take it over to Grandma Faye before she believed it.

Covered Plush Clone from Cuddle Clones® |
Mom Paula was at the Cat Writer's Association (CWA) conference last week and DJ, our pet sitter, came to take care of us each day. Mom Paula received photos of us each day and we did pretty well this time. Mom Paula got home around 1:00 am this morning and looked in the living room and saw the blanket pulled up over some products we are reviewing. She didn't think too much of it until she read the note from DJ. DJ said she had to cover the Plush Clone because it creeped her out! Mom Paula literally LOL'd.

Mom Paula posted about it on Facebook and DJ commented saying she couldn't even take the blanket off of the Plush Clone Truffle before she left that night and that she loved the "real" girls. These stories should tell you how much the Cuddle Clones look like the real thing.

Mom Paula: Even though I've had a few "double takes" when I've walked by the Plush Clone Truffle, I love it! I plan on having one made of Brulee and Praline in the future!
They are amazingly lifelike. I am very wishful I had one of Katie and Admiral. Welcome home.
ReplyDeleteOh that's too funny but we could see that happening!
ReplyDeleteMom says she's with the pet sitter on this one
ReplyDeleteMOL! Mom Paula has heard your mom say this before.
DeleteIt is so realistic looking!
ReplyDeleteIt does look very real.
ReplyDeleteMOL, those are some funny stories!
ReplyDeleteMOL! That Cuddle Clone of Truffle does look very real!
ReplyDeleteMama found it disconcerting. She was okay with yours because she doesn't live with it (just the occasional visit) but she wouldn't want one in the house!
ReplyDeleteReally? Mom Paula finds it interesting how different humans are reacting to it.
DeleteMOL! We wonder what our cat sitter would think about Lexy and Lola clones.
ReplyDeleteThat is funny, but the plush clone is very lifelike.
ReplyDeleteIn that first picture, I see Truffle thinking, "I'm way more beautiful than THIS clone of an impostor!"
ReplyDeleteThose are silly stories. Mom and I would luv to see a photo of the three of them all sitting side-by-side together (Truffle, Brûlée and the cuddle cone). Purrs and winks.
ReplyDeleteWe’ll try to work on this!
DeleteOH your cat sitter made us laugh. We have entered the giveaway and need to share it some more. Thanks for the reminder!! Good Luck everyone.
ReplyDeleteI am laughing here so much over it because I do understand also and am sure I would do the same, talk to the plush cone, thanks for the funny story
ReplyDeleteThe likeness is incredible!! I actually thought it was real in the first picture. To be honest I don't think I could handle it, a bit too life like for me but it's still fab.
ReplyDeleteI'm getting different reactions from everyone. It doesn't bother me because I know it's a stuffed animal.
DeleteOh, my, that is a funny story! The likeness is incredible. I cannot wait until I can get ones done of my FiveSibes. I just said out loud to my daughter, "I want Cuddle Clones of the FiveSibes for Christmas!" :-)
ReplyDeleteThis is a great Christmas Gift idea!
DeleteThey do look incredibly similar! I don't blame your pet sitter for putting a blanket over it.
ReplyDeleteThat's so funny about Grandma Faye! I'm dying laughing! I probably would have done the same thing. They look soo much like your cats!
ReplyDeleteThat is too funny! I can't imagine seeing their reactions in person! Made me chuckle. :)
ReplyDeleteBoth those stories made me laugh. I guess the cuddle clone looks just as good in person as it does in a photo!
ReplyDeleteWhen I got my cuddle clone of Annabelle, I can't tell you how many times I would walk by, glance over to the table when I had put it, and think it was her for a split second. They really are that life like! When I posted the pic to Facebook, someone said it was creepy and others agreed. I don't really understand that...personally I think they are amazing and beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI agree that they are beautiful and amazing.
DeleteI don’t think it’s creepy at all. I’d love to have on made of Treeno. I entered the raffle.
ReplyDeleteTruffle's cuddle clone really is adorable. I can't believe how realistic they can make stuffed animals these days. I suppose that I would probably be fooled by the clone at first glance too. It is so funny that someone thought it was creepy!
ReplyDeleteLOL! I completely believe that people are fooled by the Cuddle Clones. I don't know which one is funnier, though. Talking to the plushie or having to put a blanket over it because it's throwing you off so bad. I think I might have to find a place where it could consistently "live" without distracting me. Kind of like those life-size cardboard cutouts of Sheldon or Captain Jack. If I see those in stores out of the corner of my eye, I'll jump thinking it's a real person.
ReplyDeleteThese are so incredibly lifelike, I can't believe! I keep getting fooled when I see photos of it LOL!
ReplyDeleteLove & Biscuits,
Dogs Luv Us and We Luv Them
I'll have to get one of Buffy! That's too funny that your mom couldn't tell them apart!. I'm entering your give-a-way.
ReplyDeleteI think that Cookie would take her clone apart like any other plush toy ;-)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness I can't get over how close the resemblance is.
ReplyDeleteSuch an awesome gift for pet parents! Cuddle clones look so much like the real thing!
