Truffle and Brulee |
Mom Paula: It's amazing how much attention the girls have shown me since my surgery.
Brulee is staying in the same room with me, wherever I go. She's usually behind my head on the chair or resting on her pink Peggy blanket beside me in the bed. Truffle has become a lap kitty the past two weeks. I will wake up from a nap in the chair and find her sleeping on my lap. When I wake up in the morning, Truffle is resting right beside me - usually next to my hurting knee.
The first few days after my surgery, they actually got along with each other well enough to rest beside each other on the foot rest near my foot.
They've also been a little mischievous and playing roughly on the cat trees. It's as if they know I can't get up to put a stop to it!
You can see more Sunday Selfies by visiting The Cat on My Head.
We love how the ladies have rallied to be with you, and the lovely selfies they have taken together. I hope they carry on once your knee has settled in place. I always find a little rough and tumble helps sooth many a tension before we start the work of the day. Though Mrs H doesn't always appreciate my work schedule ;) MOL

ReplyDeleteSuch cute nurses.
ReplyDeleteAwww, what pretty nurses you two make!
ReplyDeleteIt is actually well-known that kitties are naturally endowed with inborn Reiki healing powers, so keeping them close to your injured knee is purr-robably the best thing you could do.
ReplyDeleteAnd they are so purrty too.
Such thera-purr-tic kitties!!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!!
