A Little Cottage in the South

There are so many things we love about the South. The area of South Carolina where we were born is near the coast with antebellum homes with magnolias in the yard and cottages along the beach. Imagine our surprise when we received our own little cottage to rest in.

We love Catit® products, especially the Vesper line of furniture. We've shared a few of these pieces in the past and are happy to show you one of their new products - the Vesper Cottage.

The Vesper Cottage advertises itself as a 2-Level Hideout with a Lookout Point. This reminds us of the homes along the coast of South Carolina where there is a level below where people can rest out of the sun and a deck on top for them to enjoy the ocean view and breezes. The Vesper Cottage is a cubical piece of cat furniture in a romantic cottage style with multiple entrances. Both the hideout (with two entrances) and the lookout point on top have a soft, padded cushion for your feline to relax on. The white Vesper Cottage has a shabby chic finish, meaning it will show subtle signs of wear and tear to stay true to its romantic cottage style. The Vesper Cottage is also available in oak. Both cottages are made with high-quality MDF.

Mom Paula couldn't believe how easy the Vesper Cottage was to put together. There were NO screws, nails, or pegs. Each board was precut where all you had to do was slide one piece inside the notch of the matching piece, based on the pictorial instructions enclosed. She was able to put it together in less than 30 minutes, even with her two bad knees!!! It almost took longer to unbox and unwrap the pieces than it did to put it together.

As with the other Vesper pieces of furniture in our home, the girls took to it immediately. Truffle checked out the bottom level first, but then relaxed and played with her nip banana on top while Brulee rested inside the bottom.
