Thankful Thursday

We want to say we're thankful for so many things! We're grateful to have a comfortable home with plenty of love from Mom Paula. She will sacrifice her own health and well-being to make sure we're okay. Would you believe the animal communicator, Linda Roberts, told Mom Paula at Meow MeetUp that we switched roles as caregivers in our little family and that we were now taking care of Mom Paula because she hasn't been taking care of herself. Mom Paula literally began crying during the session when Linda told her this.
Mom Paula had the injection in her back yesterday and is at home recovering. She says the medication from the injection has her feeling weird (steroids) but she is hoping once the medication kicks in that it will alleviate some of the pain in her back. She will eventually need surgery, but she hopes to put it off for a while.

Mom Paula: I'm so thankful for my two beautiful Silver Shaded Persians, Truffle and Brulee. The photo above was last night while I was resting in the chair, icing my back. Both were right near me all night and you can see they kept a watchful eye on me.

I want to also thank my cat blogging friends, friends, and family who checked on me. A special thank you to Terry from Brian's Home for correcting some mistakes I made on the CB last night.

  1. You just get better and we know your babies will watch over you. They are most aware that you're not feeling your best.

  3. Truffle and Brulee, I cried too, when I spoke to Linda Roberts about Chuck. Good think I wasn't wearing any makeup, or I'd have been more of a mess! She told me that Angel and Chuck were our 'starter' cats, while Manny and CB chose us to teach us how to have fun. I completely believe that your rolls have reversed with your mom's, but let's hope that it switches back again soon.

  8. I'm so glad to hear that you two are helping your human so much when she is in need! That's one of a cat's most important duties. I may have to step up to the plate someday when my human isn't feeling well, now that Binga is gone.
