We were excited to share some of the new pieces of cat furniture from Primetime PETZ® through Hauspanther® during the holiday season this year and have another special piece of furniture to share with you today.
The Hauspanther Collection by Primetime Petz caters to a cat's natural instincts to climb, scratch, and play. These pieces are designed by Kate Benjamin, founder of Hauspanther. We interviewed Kate about Catifying Your Home where she gave advice on providing an environment in your home that allows one to celebrate her love for cats without sacrificing her sense of style.

The newest piece of cat furniture we'd like so present to you is the Hauspanther Cubitat Multi-level Cat Bed & Hideaway by Primetime Petz.![]() |
Dimensions of Cubitat Graphic credit: Hauspanther |
The Cubitat is a compact, sleek piece of furniture that will compliment your decor. Colors are available in white with grey accents or espresso with beige accents. The Cubitat has thick felt pads on both the upper and lower lounging surfaces for comfort. The raised sided create a backrest on the upper lounge surface and the hideaway is open on all four sides to help prevent your cat from feeling trapped.

Brulee with the Cubitat pieces to be assembled |
The Cubitat is painted MDF with synthetic felt pad. Assembly is required, but it doesn't take long at all to put together. The box contains all of the pieces and the screws needed to assemble the Cubitat. You will need a Phillips-head screwdriver for assembly.
Our Review
To be honest, this was one of the easiest pieces of cat furniture I've ever put together. The only thing I needed to assemble the Cubitat was my reading glasses to see the instructions and my battery-powered Phillips-head screwdriver (arthritis in my hands). The instructions were simple to follow and I had it put together in less than 20 minutes. Each of the pieces were easy to identify with the matching diagram in the instructions and all pieces fit together with no problems. Of course, both Truffle and Brulee had to supervise the assembly.
Brulee was the first to climb inside the hideaway of the Cubitat. She didn't appear to experience any apprehension and I believe this is because all of the sides were open so she could escape. Truffle is usually my "land dweller" but once she realized Brulee was okay, she jumped on the top platform. Both the base of the hideaway and the platform are 15" x 15", so they're not huge. Truffle and Brulee weigh between 7 1/2 to 8 1/2 pounds and you can see they were able to rest comfortably in both places. I've had the Cubitat in the middle of my floor for about two weeks and I'll look over while I'm watching TV and see Truffle resting on the top platform. This piece will fit neatly in any area of my home and I don't need to worry about worn out and shredded carpet that one usually sees on "traditional" cat trees and furniture. I haven't decided where I will put the Cubitat permanently yet, but I'm confident the cats will be happy with it.

What a pawsome giveaway! We have a couple of cat trees and numerous scratchers here.
ReplyDeleteThis looks very cool!
ReplyDeleteTruffle and Brulee are so cute playing on their Cubitat! I kept thinking that my (now past) house bunnies would have loved playing on something like this too, although they probably also would have chewed it up haha. I'll leave the giveaway to the cat people, as I currently only have dogs myself, but awesome post!
ReplyDeleteThat is a very cool looking piece of cat furniture.
ReplyDeleteTruffle and Brûlée, that bed matches your furs and you are purrfect models for it! Luvs.
ReplyDeleteMy cats only have a bed and one shelf. I have not been able to get any new furniture for them since we moved so this unique piece would be great!
ReplyDeleteWe won one of these a while ago. It’s really nicely made...but kind of too small for larger size cats.
ReplyDeleteOur cat just has a couple of beds so far.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this product and your review of it. We are always looking for something new for our kitties at home or at our office. We like easy put together stuff the. Have a wonderful upcoming weekend.
ReplyDeleteWorld of Animals
That really is nice and I can see where it would be pretty darn popular!
ReplyDeleteI have a cat tree for my kitties.
ReplyDeleteIt looks puurfect for both of you. We like a little more space...
ReplyDeleteWow. I'm amazed the girls took their own level - and you got such gorgeous pictures of them doing it too!
ReplyDeleteWe are enthralled by your double decker digs. We love that you're able to share it with each other. It would sure be cool to have one cuz we've been sharing the same house for a while and the competition is stressful. This way we'd get our own digs. We never saw a cat house you put together with a screwdriver. We're sure we can get our human to do it. Of course I would get the penthouse! - Peaches the cat
ReplyDeleteI won one last year that is similar and the cats love it. Plus my great niece likes to use it as bunk beds for stuffed animals. XO
ReplyDeleteI have lounge scratcher and a hammock bed.
ReplyDeleteWhat a clever idea and they look so comfy on it. good luck to those that enter
ReplyDeleteOh Plush wants to win that - Treeno thinks it would be a great place to hang out by the heater.
ReplyDelete❤️
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a totally cute, and not too large, idea. When space is at a premium THIS is going to be such a success. Your girls obviously like it to it MUST be good.
ReplyDeleteBesides its Hauspanther - the best recommendation EVER!
Truffle and Brulee look like they are really enjoying their new Cubitat!
ReplyDeleteDa Boyz would LURV this; better than the old milk crates that The Hubby set up....
ReplyDeleteThis looks so cute! I have a small cat tree.
ReplyDeleteMy cats don't have too much "furniture," but they have cardboard cat houses. They would love actual furniture just for them!
ReplyDelete-Tarah
I have to say I love Kate Benjamin and I love Hauspanther but to be perfectly honest some of these all wood pieces of furniture leave me cold. I know you can put pillows in it to make it more comfy. I know the winner will treasure it and they should.
