Did you know cats are most active at dawn and dusk? This is one reason cats should be fed in the morning and evening. After a good meal, cats tend to sleep better too, so it's important to feed her something she will eat and that is good for her.
Truffle and Brulee are fed a variety of proteins and textures each day. One reason for this is to keep them from getting finicky and varying the protein (aka rotational diet) makes it easier to change food in the future, should your cat have a need for a special diet. I've also had issues in the past where a company changed the recipe for a product and my cat wouldn't eat it. I'm always searching for high-quality food that is good for my cats and that they will eat.
I'm always looking for high-quality, high-protein, and healthy commercial food to feed Truffle and Brulee. They are typical cats in that they may eat one food one day and refuse it the next. There are some brands that people with Persian cats (or other cats) highly recommend, but my two have refused them. I always appreciate it when a brand wants me to sample a food product because it allows more variety for Truffle and Brulee.
Catit® Dinners

Brulee loves the Catit® Dinners |
Catit® recently sent us some samples of their wet dinners and treats to sample. We chose the Catit Chicken Dinner wet cat food because we don't eat too much fish. Catit's dinners are a complete, dual-layered wet food. They contain fresh, all-natural ingredients along with essential nutrients needed for felines. These dinners are high in protein and vitamins and minerals are added. Each 2.8oz Catit Chicken Dinner variety has a base of shredded chicken meat, liver, and broth and are are available in six varieties:
- Duck & Potato
- Salmon & Carrot
- Beef & Pumpkin
- Tuna & Kale
- Liver & Sweet Potato
- Tilapia & Green Beans
Catit® Creamy™
My two cats love treats! I always try to give them healthier treats with as little ingredients as possible. They usually eat freeze-dried treats, but I sometimes worry that they need a treat with a little more liquid in order to provide necessary hydration. The Catit® Creamy is a nutritious and hydrating snack that adds a little more variety to your cat's diet. Catit Creamy is like a pudding dessert for your cats. You can feed your cats Catit Creamy directly from the tube (which can get messy if they quickly lap it up like my girls do), freeze it and make ice pops (Catit has a special Heart-Shaped Silicone Ice Tray), serve it on a plain dish (Catit has an adorable Heart-Shaped Dish for this purpose), use it as a topper on dry kibble, or use it to disguise the taste of medicine. The Catit Creamy is available in four varieties: chicken & liver, salmon, tuna, or seafood. They are available in variety packs, 12-packs, and 5-packs.
Truffle and Brulee love the Catit Creamy treats. Both will attempt to lick the Creamy directly from the tube and if I don't squeeze it fast enough, Truffle will begin biting the tube to get the treat more quickly. This is one product that both girls will eat sitting together without fighting.
Additional Catit® Food Products
Catit also has dry food and different variety of treats.
Catit Nuna™.
